DEnon AVR 2807 not giving desired output

You may be able to unplug the unit. Then turn it back on while pressing two buttons on the front of the unit. You will have to find out which two buttons they are, it can't just be any two. What you will be doing to the unit is resetting the micoprossing of the unit. When you do this the unit will flash, reset itself, you the release the buttons and your good as new. I have done this with a couple different reciever and it is a easy fix.

What to use for Audio-out on Denon AVR-2807?

Hi Karmor

Use the Tape Out(rec) connections on the Denon. If that model has a rec out selector, then be sure to select phono as well. All sweet and ready to rip them files!!

** sound

You'll have to go into Setup and look at

1. Audio asignments. Are you using digital audio (optical cable) ? If so you may need to fix your assignments.
2. In Settings there also is an area to set up your HDMI output. Look there as well.

Lost surround sound

Maybe try a reboot. To reboot, turn receiver off by the small on/off button, not the big standby button. While off press the night and pure direct button at the same time and keep holding them with your right hand while pressing the small on/off button with your left. You will see your receiver menu flash. When you see it flash let go of the night and pure direct button and the receiver will reset it self to the radio station 87.50. The receiver's microprocessor1.gif has now been set back to factory. Enjoy this info is straight from Denon's Tech support. I had to do this on mine

I need to set multi coponets

Your best set up is to plug the DVD and the direct tv optical or coaxial out. The Denon has both. You will then have to choose digital input on the receiver. There is a blue indicator light that will light and a graphic that will show all speakers are working. There is also a pink noise test that will play each speaker in order. This test button is located on the remote.

Size of fuse for Denon dra 697

The Denon DRA-697CI stereo receiver typically uses a 250V, 2.5A fuse. However, it's always a good idea to consult the user manual or check the label near the power input on the device itself to confirm the exact fuse size and specifications for your particular model. Using the correct fuse size is important for safety and to prevent damage to the receiver. If you're unsure, you can also contact Denon customer support for assistance.

Fuse size for Denon DRA 697 c!

The Denon DRA-697CI is a stereo receiver. Typically, the fuse size for electronic devices like stereo receivers is listed in the device's manual or on a label near the power input. It's important to use the correct fuse size to ensure proper protection against electrical faults. Without specific information about the fuse size for the Denon DRA-697CI, I recommend consulting the device's manual or contacting Denon's customer support for accurate information. Using the wrong fuse size can potentially damage the device or pose a safety hazard, so it's crucial to verify the correct specifications.

I have a old Denon DP-47F turntable, if I pressed the Arm lifter button, the tonearm can be slowly rising, but if Down, the tonearm will suddenly go down, no buffering. Please ask how to fix it.

Check and clean the dampening piston(s) associated with the raise / lower mechanism. The silicon oil may have dried up or leaked out.
