Look at the chain, theresa 3 there and that number coinsides with file size

Are you sure you need to replace the saw chain? There should be a screw adjuster near where the bar attaches to the saw which tightens or loosens the chain on the bar... You will have to undo the nuts holding the bar onto the saw body slightly first so thew bar can move forward and backward when adjusted with the tension screw to apply tension to the chain to reduce the slack.

It depends on what pole you have if the part is available. You may have to get a whole new pole. I suggest you contact Master Parts at 800-446-1446 or you can find them on-line at www.masterparts.net. They should be able to help you.

Remington did not make a pole for this saw and any pole that are out there cannot support the size and weight of the 16" chain saw you have.

I am not sure what model number you have, but here is a link the owner's manual for model # 106821A ... http://12.153.20.74/manuals/111219-01B.PDF. On page 15 of this owner's manual explains how to attach the pole to the saw. Just make sure you are attaching the saw that is made to fit the pole or it may not work or be to heavy for the pole. According to the manufacturer... Use SAE 30 motor oil for best results. (For temperatures below 30° F, use SAE 10. For temperatures above 75° F, use SAE 40.) DO NOT use Bar & Chain oil. I hope this helps!

It is probably the brushes that need to be replaced. They should be easily accessible and inexpensive to replace.

You will probably have to clean the oil orifice on the bar, if this does not do it you will probably have to clean and maybe rebuild the oil pump.

check chain alignment by looking down bar to drive sprocket make sure bearing is ok on sprocket and check bar for wear along guide groove
