Hello visit msi here:http://www.msi.com/service/download/And enter the ms xxxx number from the mainboard.When you find the mainboard, click on the download tab, and select drivers.Remember to select your windows system.I suggest to download them all, and unzip the files in one folder.Install the chipset driver first, and reboot.The usb function is available, with at least service pack 1, for windows xp.Good luck

how do I connect front panel?

sometime there are an option in the BIOS setting to boot directly on HDD when there are a OS installed try to invert primary and secondary controller (invert HDD and CD-ROM wire on the motherboard)
