Amana ARGS7650 Electric Kitchen Range Questions & Answers
My spark module is probably out, but I don't know
Most newer ranges with sealed burner cooktops can be a little bit tricky to open. People have a tendency to try and lift the cooktop up like on the older ranges and end up damaging the range and causing a gas leak. The first thing to do is to unplug the range of course. Then start by removing the rear panel of the range. From there you can get a visual feel of what you are up against. With the back panel removed you should be able to see into the top part of the range. Most newer sealed burner cooktops require you to disconnect the screws holding the burner tubes to the bottom of the cooktop. If you do not remove these screws you will break the tubes when you lift the cooktop. Most of the time the screws are removable from the top at the burner heads. Once these screws are removed you should be able to lift the cooktop up. From there the ignition wiring and spark module should be available now for servicing.

The broyler work but the oven doesn't heat.
Usually, if the broiler works, but the oven element doesn't, it indicates that the oven heating element is broken. Disconnect the power to your stofe by tripping the breaker (usually located at you main panel by the meter). Verify that the unit will not work under any condition, and that all power is OFF. Remove the heating element. If you have an electrical test meter and know how to use it, you can test for an open circuit with the meter in the continuity mode. You can also take the element to your local appliance parts house and they can test the continuity for you. Re assemble the element in the oven and check. Normally, this will fix your problem.

Oven
Hi, You will need to change the ignitor. Even tho the ignitor glows, they get weak and will not open the gas valve. This is a very common issue.
I hope this helps you.
please let me know if I can assist you further.

Open or shorted oven temperature sensor
Replace oven temperature sensor
Oven temp. sensor needs to be replaced. You should be able to look at diagrams with the model # for part location @
http://www3.sears.com/ or
http://www.appliancepartspros.com/. The sensor looks like a rod about 4-6 inches long and mounted to the back wall inside the oven. Some can be pulled out from insided the oven by taking out the two screws. If no screws then you will have to pull the oven out and remove from the back.

Turn the power off to the range.
If you have the duel fuel model, remove the burner knobs and remove the screw behind each knob.
Open the oven door and reove the four screws that hold the bottom of the control panel to the range.
The panel should pull out and down at the bottom.
You will probably find the ears that hold the board have broken. Some of these models only used two screws to hold the board to the panel, which left two ears that you can put the screws in to fasten it back in place. If all four ears are broken, I have used flat washers under the screws to fasten it back if there is enough of the ear left for the washer to catch.

i would first try the breaker it sounds like you only have half the power coming to unit and the light and clock will work but the heating componets will not as they require the full 220-245 volts
it sounds very odd that everything as far as burners and elements are out but you have a clock display and light... you have lost one of the legs of power somehow...either the double breaker is not fully on and may require turning off oven breaker and resetting or half the breaker has failed... a sure way of testing would be to pull out and with a volt meter test to see that you have 220-245 volts coming to oven,,, hope this helps out repost if anymore questions...
