If you're inclined to fix this yourself and can't find a replacement control board (no doubt that's what you need), try www.fixyourboard.com They will repair your board and return it to you with a 1 year warranty.
Google Amana error code F 9. Looks like a door lock situation which sometimes occur after self cleaning.Get that info on meaning of F 9 so more people can help you. Or there might be someone with his error code book at the ready.Good luck.
the fitst thing i would do is check the incomig power. make sure you have constant power ad that the range isnt loosing power. if your power is good, then you may have a bad control. go to www.searspartsdirect.com. type in the model and you can view the price for the control
Hello Richard,Do you see the ignitor glowing in the oven yet no flame to the burner??If yes ya see the ignitor..while it seems strange the ignitor is the problem and its not getting hot enough to allow the gas to flow to the burner...by replacing the ignitor it will repair the oven.Let me know it the ignitor does not seem to be glowing and i will tell ay how to check it since by far its very likely the problem.GENE
This means a
loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is
bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it
should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the
door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and
should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Hello, dinophyl (early Jurassic protozoa, hey) Do you have a Gas or Electric
kitchen range? Very good possibly that the thermostat control in the oven is
bad. That little brass bulb in the oven. This controls the internal temperature
of the oven. If it an electric range then the the electrical thermostat on the
oven knob could also be the culprit also. GB..stewbison
The F3 fault code description is an open or shorted oven temperature sensor. Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

Number 2 is the oven sensor. If it is shorted or open or out of spec (1100 ohms @ 75f) then it won't let the control operate right. If that is ok the ignitor /glowbar might be getting weak. When these get weak you can sometimes bump the valve and make it light. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/dan_73bbd84fe1d95b61
It happens
due to loose ribbon cable on the keypad or the electronic control assembly
itself going bad. To resolve this issue first, disconnect the power to unit and
then gain access to the back of the clock assembly (Electronic Range
Control/ERC). Now unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC, it would
be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide and make sure that the cable
is not broken and nothing is shorted on the keypad. After this is done insert
the cable back and then plug the unit back to check. If the error is still
there then the electronic control board should be replaced. Hope
this helps...please post back for further assistance.
