Lenove x60 tablet. Windows Vista

I would suggest that you try "reinstalling" the card by opening device manager, to do that right click on my computer or computer which you will find either on your desktop or in the start menu, select manage.

on the left side of the management window you will find Device manager. then on the right side look for the sound devices, find the sound device from there and right click uninstall, then right click anywhere and scan for hardware changes, that will reinstall the card.

If that doesn't solve the problem then you would need to reinstall the drivers, first uninstall the card, remove any software related to it and then download it from the ibm site(http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-62938.html#audio), and run the setup, when its done restart the machine and everything should be back to normal.

I put new harddrive in lenovo x60 while ruuning

I think 7b stopcode is hardware failure. Which means your hard drive is bad.

First I would try getting into your BIOS,(pressing F2 or DELETE or something upon turning your PC on) and finding a setting that says "SATA operation".... i think. You are looking for something that gives you 2 choices... either 'AHCI' or 'ATA'. It may not be called SATA operation, but it will definitely say 'AHCI' and 'ATA' as the two choices. Move the selection to whatever one it is not set on. Then try booting normally, or even re-installing again.

Try that BIOS setting first, that may be the only issue.

Good Luck.

Problem with Hard Drive

The easiest way to do that is to purchase an external enclosure for your type of desktop hard drive. They come with usb, firewire or both types of connections. It is a simple matter to remove the hard drive from the desktop and install in the enclosure. Plug it in and connect to your notebook. The enclosure will be seen as another hard drive and you can then copy what you need from the desktop hard drive to the notebook. Once on the notebook you can burn to dvd's if you like. This will not work for copying programs. They may still work, navigate to the program folder on the hard drive, find the application folder, open it and find the starting icon, right click on it and send to desktop.
All this is moot if the drive itself is too damaged to spin.

Laptop

IBM sold off it's notebook line to LENOVO. The Thinkpads are excellent business machines and for the price of a Macbook that is dual-bootable, you can really do the Thinkpad up nicely. If he was going to college for a design or music or something like that I would go with the Macbook. Since he is going for business, go with the Thinkpad.

Lenovo X60 laptop display has stopped working

The backlight is broken. These are small flourescent tube lights about the width of a pencil lead. You dropped the laptop and the bulb broke. It will have to be replaced. The driver has nothing to do with your problem, reinstalling it will not get your picture back.

Thinkpad tablet pen problem

It could be a problem with the pen but I am not positive. I knew someone who had a problem a little different from this but involving the pen not working how it should. They called the company they got the laptop from (Gateway in their case) and they were sent a new pen for free. Lenovo might do that if it's under warranty or you could buy a new pen. It could be a problem with the drivers, though, in which case I am not entirely sure what to do. Maybe reinstall?

How do you transfer music from a Lenovo Yoga 10 tablet to an SD card

You can get an adapter cable that will fit into the tablet's USB port. It's called an OTG cable. With that, you can hook up cellphones, digital cameras, thumb drives, SD card readers and many more things. The best way to do that would be to get an adapter OTG cable and a card reader. You can also transfer it to a computer and then to the SD card. If you don't have a card reader most digital cameras will work as one. Hook the camera to a ps and look for it in my computer folder. (works on macs also) and opens it. There you can put any file on the SD card. If using an OTG adapter to just hook it to the device's USB port and go to your file manager app. I would recommend an app called ES File Explorer. it makes it simple to find files on Android devices. Once you locate the drive (usually it's called USBDRIVEA) just transfer the music. Here is a link to a video that will help. I take no credit of video.

Lenovo A1000-F will not connect to network

Hi, please attempt to use another internet source before attempt to access the app store on your tablet. This can be either ethernet or tablet. If this fails, please restart your tablet once or twice. Otherwise, you might need to transfer antivirus apps via usb into your tablet, install/run those and then attempt to access your app store again. Thank you.
