Hello, there is a routine built into the printer you can run from the front panel.

Select the Menu and navigate to the "Configure Device" navigate to "Print Quality" navigate to "Create Cleaning Page" The Printer will request a piece of paper to be put into the bypass tray, it will then print a page. The page will be printed with instructions on how to complete the process. I would sugguest running this this at least 2 times and then every time the toner is change. A routine of running this cleaning page should help prolong the life of the fuser, I hope this helps and answers your question.....Cheers!!

A fuser error is probably caused by a thermistor (detects an overheating problem). The fuser is probably best serviced by the manufacturer as an improperly serviced fuser could lead to a fire.

"Error 6" indicates a common problem with LaserJet, a brand of dry electrophotographic laser printers from computer technology company Hewlett-Packard. One of such machines is the HP LaserJet 3390, an all-in-one printer that can print, copy, scan and fax documents.
