PowerDesigner 9.5 wil load on Windows 7 but it won't run. I was able to get it to run by installing it in the virtual XP environment on Windws 7.

For this to work,
Must be running Windows 7 Professional or better, and
Your machine has to allow virtual machines (BIOS Setting).

You will need to download 'XP Mode' and indows Virtual PC' from Microsoft.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/install-and-use-windows-xp-mode-in-windows-7

You will be able to run PowerDesigner 9.5 and oter applications that will not run in the Windows 7 environment but ran previously in the XP environment.

If you're referring to the dongle used with a wireless mouse or keyboard, I believe you have to buy a new setup. The same would apply with a wireless adapter.

The graphics card supplying the signal could be bad, a pin could have been bent over when you plugged in the vga cord (if a vga display).

If a pin is bent, be careful bending it back; it can break off easily. Grab with needle-nose pliers or tweezers, and slowly bend. Don't over-bend.

I would:
  • try checking all connections, especially the power cord to the back of the monitor.
  • try a different monitor as a test to see if the monitor is bad or the graphics card supplying the signal.
  • Once you've narrowed down the cause you'll know what to replace.
Sorry, I don't have any cure for a bad monitor.

There is software what allows for clonning non-copyprotected dvd. It is called CloneDVD. There are ways to remove copy protection but this you have to find on your own, since this forum is not about pirating dvd. For your information even blueray disks can be copied using right software and compatible drives. You need to do your own research. Maybe DVDFaB ? ??????

5505E MEASUREMETER BATTERY CHANGE (3V CR-2032)
REMOVE WHEEL AND SHAFT BY GENTLY PULLING AXLE OUT OF UNIT.
DRILL OUT 7 PLASTIC HEADS WITH 3/16 DRILL BIT. (ABOUT 1\8 DEPTH)
SPLIT TWO SIDES OF CASE AND REMOVE HANDLE.
SLIDE OUT CLEAR PLASTIC CONTROL UNIT. PUSH DOWN ON BUTTONS AS YOU REMOVE SO AS NOT TO DAMAGE THEM.
PUSH DOWN SLIGHTLY TOWARD THE CASE ON LOCK TABS WHILE GENTLY PULLING CASE APART. START ON ONE END AND WORK YOUR WAY TO OTHER END. KEEP GASKET INTACT. OPEN CASE.
THERE IS A "Y" SHAPED RETAINER HOLDING IN THE BATTERY. WITH NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS, CAREFULLY SLIGHTLY SQUEEZE THE BOTTOM OF THE "Y" AND PULL UP GENTLY. YOU CAN NOW REMOVE THE BATTERY AND INSTALL THE NEW ONE. PUSH RETAINER DOWN TO LOCK BACK IN.
MAKE SURE GASKET IS IN PLACE AND PUT CASE BACK TOGETHER, MAKING SURE WHEEL ADAPTER IS IN PROPER PLACE. TURN ON AND TEST CONTROL UNIT AND TURN WHEEL ADAPTER TO MAKE SURE UNIT IS WORKING PROPERLY.
SLIDE CONTROL UNIT BACK IN BEING CAREFUL OF THE BUTTONS. RE-ASSEMBLE HANDLE AND PUT THE TWO SIDES OF THE CASE TOGETHER. I USED THREE PIECES OF ELECTRICAL TAPE TO HOLD CASE TOGETHER. ONE ON THE TOP BETWEEN THE TWO HOLES, ONE ON THE BOTTOM JUST ABOVE THE DISPLAY, AND ONE IN THE MIDDLE.
PUT THE PLASTIC PIECE IN THE HOLE AND LINE UP. MAKE SURE BOTH O-RINGS ARE ON THE AXLE SHAFT. GENTLY INSERT AXLE ALL THE WAY IN WHILE ROTATING IF NECESSARY.
I WAS SO HAPPY I HAD IT ALL BACK TOGETHER AND WORKING, I HADN'T TAKEN ANY PICTURES AND I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE TAKING IT ALL APART AGAIN. MIGHT ADD PICTURES LATER IF NEEDED. I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR YEARS ON HOW TO CHANGE THE BATTERY, AND I FINALLY MADE UP MY MIND THAT I WAS GOING TO DO IT.
