Hello download the manual here: MSI Global Motherboard K9MM Check power supply, the ram modules. This is a AM2 socket, check for the cpu is properly inserted in the socket and the lever is closed. When it stops any bsod ?? Check also for bad caps. Good luck

EXPLAIN BETTER.

MSI have create no driver for K9MM-V under Windows 7, but usually Windows 7 & Vista automatically recognize old audio chipset, strange that your installation has not installed the driver. Have you tried with Windows XP driver? sometimes it did the trick.

You need to make sure the CD drive is the first drive that the system reads on startup. You may be able to use the "Select Boot Drive" button on the start (POST) screen or go into the BIOS and select the CD as the primary boot drive.
