I have msi mother board

Hi Teja,
I have the prior generation tech from MSI, K8MMV and it as well is not compatible with 7, so you need to upgrade your motherboard at a best time for you, or get a different video card, which I believe is AGP for your board. The new motherboard is the best option as you could do more with more, but short term until a time when this may be done, you can change the video for less money if need be.

Check the connections for the screen cable.
Try even with another monitor.

Other processors suits k9mm-v

Hello there,
Here is the link that will show your motherboards CPU support. just click the link.

CPU Installation Procedures for Socket AM2
1. Please turn off the power and unplug the power cord before installing the CPU.
2. Pull the lever sideways away from the socket. Make sure to raise the lever up to a 90-degree angle.
3. Look for the gold arrow on the CPU. The CPU can only fit in the correct orientation. Lower the CPU down onto the socket.
pcsyke_105.jpg

4. If the CPU is correctly installed, the pins should be completely embedded into the socket and can not be seen. Please note that any violation of the correct installation procedures may cause permanent damages to your mainboard.
5. Press the CPU down firmly into the socket and close the lever. As the CPU is likely to move while the lever is being closed, always close the lever with your fingers pressing tightly on top of the CPU to make sure the CPU is properly and completely embedded into the socket.

Installing the CPU Cooler
1. Position the cooling set onto the retention mechanism. Hook one end of the clip to hook first.
2. Then press down the other end of the clip to fasten the cooling set on the top of the retention mechanism. Locate the Fix Lever and lift up it.
3. Fasten down the lever.
4. Attach the CPU Fan cable to the CPU fan connector on the mainboard.

Hopefully this information helps.
Thank you for using FixYa.

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error Want to make sure your drivers are in place and no errors have occurred? Simply click start right click on my computer select properties then select device manager scroll to Display Adapters and click on the small "+" you should see the model of your PCI Express graphic card there. If there is a problem with it, a yellow exclamation mark should appear besides it. If you don't see it everything is OK and your card is working properly. Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers also you might uninstall the display adapter restart your computer then reinstall the display adapter and its drivers this would apply to the sound video and game controllers to hope this helps If you computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it If you don't have the motherboard disk you might need to download them cnetdownload.com on the home page you should see the download software finder under that there will be a list platform, category sub category price from the category drop down list select drivers then from the price drop down list select free or which ever applies to your need hope this helps http://download.cnet.com/%7Bvalue=http://www.download.com/jetway-motherboard-driver/3000-2098_4-163033.html

Right click to reinstall drivers or uninstall click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the (((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there also click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer make sure you have an earth ******** before touching any parts inside your computer hope this helps
