Mach Speed Matrix P4MSD-800 (P4MSD-800 D2) Motherboard - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
AWDFLASH.exe
Firstly, what (if anything) did you change in terms of hardware or software recently? If you have can you tell me what it was and how you did it. Have you tried overclocking it?You should be able to fix this simply by restoring your default BIOS settings. If this fails, then let me know and i will get back to youIf the above doesn't work, try updating your BIOS to the newest available. If you give me your motherboard manufacturer and model i can find a suitable BIOS upgrade for you.If still no hope then the problem may be with your CMOS battery. So, try leaving your computer on for some time and put the battery back and try. Also check the battery if it is dead replace it with new one same type. If these do not work the problem may even be with your system fan.

My unit won't power up
Remove the little watch type battery from the mother board check the voltage with a meter should be about 3.5 volts. Then replace the battery on the mother board. This battery holds memory within the Bio chips on the mother board, if there was a problem that it sensed for turn on it will be in the Bio's memory, and maybe not allowing the computer to turn on, by removing the battery for a few minutes, the Bio's forget they had a problem, if you will. and the computer might turn on.
If you have all the voltages to the mother board from the power supply, it should turn on.
unless there is some reset circuit interfearing with it turning on. Or you might have a blown fuse on the mother board, I would check everything I could, and try everything I could, and if you still cannot get it to turn on take it to a computer shop and spend a few bucks for them to fix it.

Integrated graphic controller in p4msd-800
Hi a_car, I understand your trouble. Mach Speed shows little information about the bios settings. The fastest way to get the bios to load the onboard graphics would be to clear the cmos jumper. This is shown on page 12. JCMOS1: Clear CMOS Header. Do not forget to set the jumper back to normal. If this fails to load the onboard graphics card I'll try & guide you from memory.
Enter the bios. Go to the title Advanced. Within advanced menu look for, advanced chipset features & integrated peripherals. One or both should list the settings you want to change too. When using the onboard graphics card, you will also need to set the total amount of system memory you want the graphics to use.
Good luck a_car!
Thank you for using fixya.
Merry xmiss!

Motherboard specs
Hi dwman113,
Yes your Mach Speed MB will support 2x1 GB, Dual Channel Mode DDR2-800MHz, PC6400 memory modules. (Manual states the memory dimms should be paired).
Also known as matched memory.
Max Shared Video Memory is 256MB, refers only to the integrated built in video card.
Click this link to help you understand what CL stands for; http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/26/3
Small example. CL3 runs faster than CL5.
You can run any PCI-Express 16x graphics card & it can be rev 2.0. Graphics cards are backwards compatible which means it will also run at v1.0. You should not buy a SLI card because you only have 1 PCI-E x16 slot. To run SLI, (Hooking up 2 PCI-E x16 cards together viva a small SLI connector) your motherboard would need two PCI-E x16 slots & the board must support SLI mode & your's does not. Here is the main web site link for your Mach Speed MSA2-6100V MB.

If you have any more issues or questions just post it & we'll go from there.
Good luck dwman113!

My Employer Says They Are Going To Cut My Wages. Can They?
If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired an
employment attorney to fight the case on my behalf. It turned out that my employer was basically looking to scare people into taking the wage cut.
They got into some pretty serious legal trouble for their transgression, and nothing happened to me in terms of wage cuts after that. If you are between contracts, your employer can re-negotiate your salary, but as far as I am aware, if you are in an agreed-upon contract, they cannot just decide to reduce your salary. If you want to settle matters, contest this action with support from a legal professional.
