Wacom Graphire 4 "Silver" 4x5 (WMM132369) Questions & Answers
Wacom tablet clicking noise!!!!!
ok... so i've just been fiddling around with my wacom settings... and i noticed that while i didn't see any sound options when i go to the wacom tablet settings through the windows control panel, i do have them in the pen office program... i had the sound box ticked, so i just unticked it...
My wacom graphire 4 stylus is malfunctioning
In the Control Panel for the pen, hold down CTRL (PC) or ALT (Mac) and click on the About button to open the diagnostic screen. Look at the value for "Pressure" on the right hand side - this should stay at 0 until the pen is brought into contact with the tablet.
If it shows a high value (above 50), then you pen may be defective and, if in warranty, will be replaced. A half hour ago, my pen gave a value of 220 and, being well out of warranty, cannot be replaced for free. However, it now gives a value of 0 and works perfectly. The solution? I bashed it (side on) on the table top and against the flat of my hand for about 10 minutes as per a low-tech solution on the Wacom-Europe forum. With each series of smacks, the pressure fell toward 0. If you can't get it below about 60, it may still be okay as there is a pressure offset control in the diagnostic panel that goes up to 59.
Good luck!
Alastair.
Cant open configuration for wacom tablet
if you're using windows XP (like me), try this:
open the configuration window, at least as far as possible. then enter the task manager, right click the wacom tablet configurator and choos "maximize". no perfect solution, as you have to do it everytime you want to change something, but still better than nothing.
Wacom Tablet
did anyone find that driver for the mac. Sketchboard DS-SB20G
Wacom Graphire 4 Vista Lag
I've found a solution!
Go to:
Control panel
Pen and input devices
Pointer options
I personally turned off all 4 of the circle thingies, but only turning off some might work also ^^
Tablet Driver
Try this:
Start>Run
Type: services.msc
Scroll down to TabletService
Right click>Properties>Log On tab
Is service disabled? If so, enable it and I think that will solve your problem.
I had the same problem you described after I disabled this service.
Pen issue
i'm not really sure, but many many other people have the same problem (me included). have you tried removing and replacing the nib, downloading the new drive or adjusting the sensitivity on the control panel? i've even heard that hitting it on a table works. my guess is that something is clogged/broken because of disuse. it's really frustrating.
Driver donĀ“t work (MacOSX Leopard
I had the same problem, and finally I found a solution (as stupid as I don't know I didn't think about it before). Try to uninstall the driver (application > wacom tablet > uninstall) then download the last driver (june 2008 I think) and install it
Ugh, tablet pen issue
well, i'd suggest 3 things
- restart your computer, see if that works
- unhook your tablet and re-hook it in
- check to see if the tablet might've been broken or injured
something like this happened to me once
and thats the stuff I did
Pen is always drawing
Dear All,
I have experienced the same problems in the aforementioned cases about the pen randomly highlighting things on the desktop/making selections, as well as loss of double tapping feature for double clicking. For my situation, I am pleased to say that I've managed to resolve the problem it may or may not help but worth a try. The solution:
(1) go to control panel and open up the 'Pen Tablet' icon,
(2) under 'Tracking' select 'Pen Mode' and click on 'Details' tab,
(3) under 'Screen Area' select 'Monitor' (*IMPORTANT*)
(* other settings I have are: 'unchecked' force proportions, 'Tablet Area' set to 'full', number of monitors under 'Screen Area' set to 1)
Following the above steps should remedy the problem. It worked for me. I hope it proves useful to you as well.
Kindest regards,
Jon
Pen working incorrectly
I have the exact same problem, and I can't find anything, until now, on the web about it. I think perhaps the pen is defective because the mouse works fine.
Wacom mouse KC-100-00
I would uninstall the drivers, reboot, and let your OS install the mouse. Then try to re-install the new drivers that were released by Wacom yesterday available at the link I provided. (You probably got them there, I don't know)
If it goes 'wonky' again, uninstall the new drivers and use the older ones provided on the website or just let you OS install if it will.
