Toshiba Gigabeat F40 40 GB MP3 Player Questions & Answers
Touch screen doesnt work.
It sounds like you have to replace the touch screen then. Replacing all touch screens is very similar. They're soldered on to the mother board at the proper connection point. Here's a link on the how to. I'd suggest bringing it into Bestbuy or a tech repair company as this is a very long and complex process (unless you have prior experience in circuitboard work). Hope this helped!

How do i upload music from my pc to gigabeat 40gb
To transfer music files to your gigabeat, simply connect it to the PC via USB cable. A gigabeat window will pop up on your screen and will direct you to WMP 11 (make sure to click the "Complete" button, or it will not take you to WMP 11). Once you're in WMP 11, assemble the list of music you wish to transfer and press "Sync". The program will automatically begin transferring data to your gigabeat.
Hi,
have been trawliing around for
Hello,
yes, I think is has to do with the WMA files. You will have to convert the CD's again, but this time, it has to be converted to MP3 format. Usually, windows media player's default format is WMA but it can be changed to MP3 format so that when next you convert with windows media player, it will be in MP3 format.
Open the Windows media player, Go to "Rip", click the arrow symbol/sign under it and you will see some option. Click format and select "MP3".
Once you convert/rip and CD thereafter, if would be in mp3 format.
Transfer it into the player and it should play this time around.
if it doesn't play, let me know so that I can direct you further on what to do.
Good luck.
