Plug the GPS into your car, then slide the ON/OFF switch, located on the bottom of the GPS, then set it to 'ON'. Then the system should automatically start up.

I have 2 C310x's that had been sitting unused for a long time. When I went to use them I had the same issue. I almost tossed them, but decided to leave the one connected to the computer for awhile. After an hour or two it came back to life. Tried that with the other one and it also came back after an extended period of time connected to the computer.

I have a Mio Digi Walker model Mio268+ the adaptor socket has broken internal am unable to charge where could i get it repaired?. LEIGH WIGAN LANCSHIRE.

don't change it by yourself, put it in service

Do a hard reset, by flipping the power switch on the bottom. Leave it off for a minimum of 30 seconds. then turn it back onn, the firmware bac-up will be restored at that time.

You need to purchase a new battery.

Hi, you can get miomap from the disc that came with the gps or if what you want to do is upgrade the skins, add text to speech(tts), and put new maps in you can find a lot of info here:http://www.gpsunderground.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2104

I have the mio c310x and added a new skin, maps and added a video player to movies on it. Hope this helps.
