I need a pedestal stand for a Sharp AQUOS
i need a pedestal stand for sharp aquos 32 inch tv and do not know where to get. check on line it seem no one has it. where can i get one? do not want to spend a lot of money not more than 50 dollars.
If the screen goes black and will not turn on can it be repaired
Its actually more cost effective to get a new TV then to have them repaired this day and age. I always find it tough to pick a new TV with all the different technologies out there. Vizio seems to be a pretty good brand in my opinion. There not real costly but you get a lot of tv for your buck. I actually just got 3 of them to replace the TVs around my house. Remember to always check reviews on tvs at places like
www.tvrevs.com and see what others have experienced with the TV your looking to get. Just my opinion.

Ive got an sharp aquos
The tv power supply board it is the causes and the problems.That the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Hi,
Please unplug tv from wall socket for minute to get it reset, replug back in and turn it On, if tv still does not On then It seems power supply board got bad and need to be replaced.
Required power supply board is available in
shopjimmy.com and a handy person can replace it easily.

This are the steps to find and fix that problem.
- Open the cover of your TV.
- Disconnect the input supply of system board or main board that comes from the power supply unit.
- Power ON the TV to check the voltage reading of disconnected connector to the input of system board by using voltmeter.
- Check the 5vdc and 12vdc by using voltmeter.If you got voltage reading of 5vdc and 12vdc,try to connect the input connector of the system board and check the voltage again.If no voltage when you connect it.There's a shorted parts on your system board.Replace the whole system board because its very difficult and expensive to repair it.
- When the input voltage of system board doesn't have 5vdc and 12vdc even disconnected on the board.The problem is on power supply.
Check the following:
- Fuse-Check the fuse if busted.
- Transistor and diode-Check the transistor and diode if shorted.
- Resistor-Check the resistor if open/change value.
- Capacitor-Check the capacitor if leak/bulge on top.
If you found the defective parts that mention above.Replace it with the same type and ratings.
NOTE:If the following parts are OK and the problem is still there.The power supply have major problem and its not for D.I.Y..

Not able to turn tv on with remote
First try changing the batteries.
Next make sure when you press function on the remote control the red light on the remote displays under tv
Next try a remote reset:
You
have to unplug the television after turning it off. Take the batteries
out of the remote control. Point the remote toward the remote sensor
(bottom right hand corner of the television set). Press the power
button on the remote control and hold it down for 30 full seconds. Next
press and release every button on the remote control. Next plug the tv
back in and power it on from the power button on the television itself.
Replace the batteries. Adjust the volume using the remote control. If
that works the problem is solved. If it doesn't work you may need a software update, a new remote control, or repair to the sensor on your television.
To see if your remote control is working look at it through the viewscreen of a digital camera.
The digital camera must be turned on and ready to take a picture. Next
press a channel button on the remote control. Do you see a bluish white
light? If so the remote control is ok.

Not sure why u need to go to menu. If you want to connect lapotop to TV attach the cable turn on laptop and monitor and hit FN F5 the laptop screen will then be diusplayed on monitor Fn F9 turns it off
