You were probably piggy-backing on someone else's router, and they changed names, passwords, etc. But if you have a cell phone and internet access with that cell phone, you can set such a cell phone up as a hot spot (sharing internet connection)! The cell phone will tell you the SSID #, as well as the password which you will have to enter into the HP printer to let it connect.

1. Press left arrow and settings buttons simultaneously
2. Press OK
3. Browse to information menu
4. In the info menu browse to the selection which ends with LOI in parenthesis
5. Press OK
6. Now move back to the main menu by pressing the cancel button a few times

Patrick, the display will ask you to replace cartridge if no ink. Some cartridges are transparent and you can see ink level - I don't know if yours are. goodluck

hi go to setting in printer. and go to the page setup press supplies page. the page will print with status of cartridge ink. thanks

If the ink is a refill by you the printer will not recognize. If new replacement cartridges, it should be ok. After ink change, do a clean and allignment for clearer result.

Go to Control Panel, printer services or preferences. There is a quality tab there. I set it to Best. Then, I take a 1/4 inch stack of paper ad feather it to get some air in between the pages and it works fine. If the paper sits there for a while I have to take it out and feather a stack of it again, but that's all.

You probably need a new ink cartridge.

Yes - if they are not used they will dry up and be unusable.Unfortunate but you need to replace them.For future ref - IF they will not be used in 4 - 6 monthspop them out and put scotch tape on the head where ink comes outand that should keep them good for several months..I have done that and close to a year later - was fine.Hope this helps :)

best way is to try a different one. Or try removing it and cleaning the copper contacts w alcohol ( gold looking dots on printer where ink goes)
