It could end up being a hard drive problem, or a power supply problem. Make sure your power cord is plugged in completely to your laptop when you turn it on. To verify you have a successful power connection, remove the battery from the laptop and just use the power cord. If it does not come on at all when you are just using the power cord, try wiggling around the connection. Most power cords have a light that comes on when it is plugged into the wall. If you do not see a light, try a different outlet. If you still do not have a light, you may want to try replacing the power cord.

Hi kipspal2,
You can adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad according to your requirement. Just follow the instructions below:
1) Click on Start.
2) Go to Control Panel
3) Double Click on 'Mouse'.
4) The Mouse Properties dialogue box pops up.
5) In the pointer options tab, under Motion, there will be a slider under 'Select a pointer speed'.
6)
Move the slider with your mouse towards 'Slow'. Now you will notice
that when you move your mouse, the sensitivity has decreased.
7) Apply the settings and Click OK.
Hope this information was helpful.

I have toshiba satellite l505-S5988
Hello
OK, the best and easiest way of doing this will be to go to your nearest computer store and buy yourself an blue tooth adapter. This adapter works on the same principle as a flash drive. You plug the adapter into your USB port and enables your laptop to be blue tooth capable.
This adapter will cost you round about $10.
Please feel free to let me know if you need any further assistance.
Kind regards
Andrea

Digital Concepts CR-75-p says there is no disk in the drive
1. Is the card supported by the card read?
2. Have you install/uninstall any software recently?
3. Is there any red or yellow alert in your device manager? If so, go an check if it is card reader related.

I want to get the drivers Toshiba Satellite
Here is the link - Go to "Downloads". But I was unable to find drives for Windows XP SP3 there. There are several support application though. Vista Drives may work since they have backward compatibility and SP3 drives have some Vista feature as well...
However you can try installing Drives Individually.
First of all you have to find each product's model and the manufacturer.
Use this tool.
Driverguide
Run this tool (the Trial - No need to Purchase or Register. Skip the "Login" as well. No need to check for updates. Skip that part also). Yo may need the Internet Connection (Usually your Windows CD should install the Network Card drives so that you would be able to connect to the internet hopefully. Its not a must though).
After the software completes the Analysis, you have to click on each Drive and find its Manufacturer, Version and Device ID from the Bottom Right Tab, "Device Information".
Then you can search the Manufacturer's Website for Drives. (As an example if you see a Realtek device, you have to search their web site).
Feel free to contact further. If you were unable to understand the Driverguide results, let me know the results so that I can identify.
If you were able to solve your issue with the help of this answer please be kind enough to rate the answer as well.
Thanks for contacting Fixya!

- Hi, to verify the "Communication Switch" is on. Go to the "All Programs," select (Toshiba) from the menu, open the "Utilities" program and click on the Toshiba Assist. Next, click on the Toshiba Hardware icon; the next window will open with the Toshiba (HWSetup), check the "Wireless Communication Switch," to make sure its (ON). "I suggest restarting the Computer, after you have applied the changes; the Systems Configuration will be more successful that way. "Rating the solution will let me know if this was helpful to you, and that the problem has been fix!"

Is their already a anti-virus software installed
Hi,
You are able to verify most programs through the Add and Remove programs application. In Windows XP, Click Start, Control Panel, Add and Remove programs, and scroll through the list. You should see it listed.
There are a couple of good free programs, if you do not see one listed. You can download either AVG Free from here
http://majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?id=886&file=1&evp=dcdcda7ae8a7f7fc5c8683524884d470
or Avast Free from here http://
www.majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?id=1968&file=15&evp=7a7be4dedb83870bca5491cd7c055287
You may have to click a yellow bar across the top of Internet Explorer (IE), that says To Help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options. If so, click on it, and download the file.
If you need further help, or if you would like me to explain something more, please let me know.
Thanks
