Windows 7 not installing
All computers with minimum requirements are able to install Windows 7.
The installation CD you are using must be faulty,
use a new Windows 7 CD, and it should work.
You
can also try to format your Hard Disk during the installation process
to remove the old damaged Operating system files, if you are not
performing a disk format, please make sure you back up all your data to a
separate partition or an external drive before formatting as all your
data will be deleted.
Thank you for using Fixya,
Kenneth

I would like to reset my computer to the day I bought it.
OK, you need to locate to system CDs that came with your laptop. One of them will be disc 1 or operating system or Windows CD. Insert into the CD ROM drive. Power up laptop and when "Press any key to boot CD.." is displayed, press any key on the keyboard. If this message doesn't display, then the CD will boot and just follow the on-screen messages to install your OS. If your laptop doesn't boot the CD, then you need to go into your BIOS and set the CD-ROM drive as the 1st boot device. Follow on-screen messages during boot-up to enter your BIOS or try pressing the DEL or F1 or F2 or F12 key while powering up your computer. If you do not have the system CDs, then you need to call Toshiba and order them.

My Toshiba laptop screen shows 2 loading boxes then goes black
Perhaps this can help...
I have the solution for the non booting Toshiba that I wrote almost a year ago. This tutorial (written and pics from the repair of my m35) is applicable to laptops that shut down without any warning, laptops that turn on only sometimes, and laptops that simply refuse to turn on (LEDs blink, fan spins up for a second and then everything just goes dead). So if your laptop does not turn on, it goes completely dead within a few minutes after bootup, here's the link to the tutorial. The repair takes about an hour, there's no need of replacing any parts, reinstalling any software or any other thing. The only investment in repairing your laptop with this tutorial is your time. Basically, you can repair your laptop within the hour, without spending any money for any parts or software.

I would like to reset my computer back to original state
You have three options
Before you use any of the options you should attempt to get anything you need to keep from the hard drive (music, pictures, documents etc.)
One is to buy a set of restore cd's from Toshiba
The second is to buy a new operating system of your choice (my preference)
Third is that some laptops come with aspecial resore partition built into the hard drive. For this I would suggest go inti the bios and see if there is any clue in there. If not then look for some form of extended boot sequence in the bios and set it to that.
Start up the computer and watch the screen closely in case it says somthing like "Press F12 to restore your computer" or somthing similar

Ironically, 5 days after the
It is not the power cord but the input jack itself. You will need to bring it to someone that can solder in a new connector. This is what they look like from the inside. Most local computer or electronic stores can make the repair for you. Should be around $50-$75. Make sure you don't pay too much.

According of your description, If you already changed the power suply, and the battery, and still no signs to power on, your laptop has some issue at power connector in the motherboard and need to be serviced.

Japanese Visa Application with COE denied. Why?
How to Get Employment Security With Correct Japan Work Visa Japan is no different from other developing nations whereby grass seems greener on its side of the pasture. It attracts its fair share of foreign businesses as well as nationals seeking to work within its lands. Albeit many adhere to immigration procedures, some choose to test their limits on the basis of ignorance or defiance. By understanding the different types of work visa in Japan, it assures its foreign workers a continual stream of income with no threat of arrest and deportation. Visa simply infers the status of residence. Citizens obviously have no need of it as they automatically satisfy qualifications to freely reside in their country of birth. As for those of alien status who wish to join the local workforce, there should be a category to match one's requirement. Since most countries strive to improve the overall quality of life, professionals are generally welcomed to contribute knowledge and skill. Unskilled labor is normally not granted a visa to avoid flooding and dilution of the workforce. The visa is awarded in accordance to one's area of expertise. Supported with proof of relevant experience, it is based on the field of involvement whilst working in the country. In the event one's work scope changes from one expertise to another, it is essential to apply for a visa under the new circumstances. Different types of work visa in Japan also apply to foreign companies seeking to conduct local business. Domestic companies based abroad wishing to set up a local point of presence need to provide supporting documents to justify internal transfer of foreign workers. Governmental staff for diplomatic duties is assigned a category for legal residence. Over and above the general groupings, designated activities also garner approval from the authorities. Domestic service for non-native residents and citizens of certain nations on working holidays fall into this category of working visa. This, by no means, is the end of the list as it is best to consult the authorities on which visa serves best.Click Here For More Details: http://japanjobandvisaservice.com/blog/change-your-luck-when-apply-work-visa
