try going into the BIOS of your system upon powering your laptop as soon as you see your Dell Logo keep on tapping f1 till you get a different screen or if the system beeps when you tap on f1 then stop it should boot into your system BIOS and give you options,
normally for dell it should have a phoenix BIOS try setting your bios to defaults then save and exit the bios if still it does not fix you issue then you can try reinstalling windows and its drivers .
Sir,
sounds like either a battery or motherboard problem. Try to restore the default settings in the BIOS and test the system. If this does not help try another battery to test it with your system. if the other battery works, its time to get a new battery. If the same thing happens even with a new battery, it would be a motherboard failure.
The D620 is right now
1. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds. This will shut down the PC.
2. If you disagree with this then you will have to contact Dell Tech support.
3. If you are able to go into safe mode and then close the file that are opened then shut down properly with the "shut down" button an the power up again. You should be able to restore the PC.
4. If you have any USB device connected disconnect them after shut down. In the power up sequence the ports and hard drive and the keyboard etc are checked to see if they are enabled or if something is connected this will sometime on the C620 cause it to go into a mode not wanted.
Can performance be reinstalled
It's simple, and it takes less than 3 hours: backup all your data, reinstall Windows, uninstall all the junk that came with your recovery disks, run a system clener like CCleaner, install and run a single antivirus (Avast is one of the best and free for home use) and install/reload all your other programs and data.
I need to factory reset a dell latitude d620
depends how old your computer is. if you have the start up disks then it should be fairly easy just pop it in and go. but if you don't i suggest you look up your laptop drivers and download them or you'll get stuck trying to find them
