This distortion could be cause by friction on the bar that holds the ink cartridge holder. What you could is oil this bar with machine oil. To confirm this rub the bar with your finger and check if it is a bit oily. Do not apply too much, just enough to make slide smoothly.

Good luck & God bless!

The printer had low ink message pressed stop/reset

Remove and keep the power off for sometime. Now if there is total failure of the power supply then the fault can be in-the SMPS- a failure.
If not the printer will come back to life with a reset , replace the ink cartridges using the maintenance key. If there is error remove printer un-install and reinstall, then connect to detect it on the PC. Take a test print to confirm.

What is service error B200?

Well every advice is the same except a little altered (use a warm cotton swab to clean inside machine and on print head channels) but then it says if possible replace print head but honestly this has become a primitive Machine for turning humans into corpses - buy a new one.

HOW DO YOU GET THE

Lift the top cover and you will see the cartridges toward the center of the printer (they are long thin ink tanks with different colored labels). On the side of the cartridges facing you there are tabs that you pressin and then lift that side up. Then you can pull the cartridge out toward you. To insert the new cartridges, simply make sure the side with the tab is facing you and slide the cartridge into the corresponding slot. Then press down on the cartridge where it says "press" untill it clicks into place. A red indicator light should come on if you did this correctly.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

Prints all streaky! had a printer jam

Hi There

summary
Usage of compatible ink and leave the printer idle too long may cause printhead clogging
What should you do if you get this problem. Relax; you may recover the printhead by unclogging it. Follow these steps to unclog the printhead

1. Right click in the printer driver name
2. Select Properties menu
3. Click Maintenance tab
4. Click on cleaning sign for regular cleaning. Perform this up to 3 times.
5. If this does not work, perform Deep Cleaning

And if that not work

Some times it needs a good clean up but this is up to you if you want to do this,
But after you done this prime the printer so it gets the inks back in the heads, it may take a little time for the inks to work.

Ok.

There is fluid cleaner for this but I can never find any in the shops the only ones I seen is when they sell them in Tesco but they come in with the ink refill bottles so I just use worm water by it self on a cloth and dabbing on the heads to clean them, it will not harm the heads but not to much water.

Some heads are on the inks them self but some have them inside the printer so I not know your printer so if the heads are inside you need to get them out you may find that some heads will just clip out put some need to be unscrewed so you got to know how they come out so be careful and not push to hard on them, if the heads are on the ink then it is a easy job to clean them,
It worth a try it worked for me more than ones.

Please all I ask is call back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one, so I will keep on helping.

Error 6000

The reason for this problem is a loose belt that no longer connects the motor with the paper feeder.
Follow these Three steps solve this:
- Remove the left side cover of the printer
- To do this for the MP 520 you need to remove the little gray front left cover first, then the four screws at the back, and then the left side cover (this is complicated as you need to undo 7 craws on the left hand side all marked by little arrows and spread out all over the printer)
- just put the belt on, it should help.
