Intalling a Lexmark Z645 to my toshiba laptop without a disk
If this is a newer printer that can use a USB cable, then you want to boot up the laptop, If you arte running XP or Vista, make sure you have admin rights. Install software with the printer disconnected from computer. Once install is either completed or asks for printer connection, power on printer, wait a few moments, then attach the USB cable top a poert on laptop. Install should continue, and you should be good to go.

Try this:
1. From Control Panel > Printers... delete all printers.
2. Unplug the usb cable.
3. Re-boot
4. Install software
5. Plug in usb cable.

Do you have the drivers of your printers and installed them?
After changing cartridge, printer will not print, z645?
First... check to make sure you removed the yellow tab from the new print cartridge
put the ink cartridge back into the printer
click Start
click Control Panel
open Printers and Faxes
click (or double click to open) your printer icon
click on Printer menu
click on cancel all documents
Then try printing again.
If this does not work, look in the manual that came with the printer and check out the troubleshooting section.
'carrier path blocked'
Open up the compartment to the check for anything blocking the cartridge carrier from moving
check for correct placement of the cartridge
close the compartment
Printer won't print the BLUE color.
The cartridge may have worked perfectly when you purchased it, but something in either the electronics of the cartridge or of the printer may have failed. Is this cartridge new or recycled? If recycled, something may have been damaged during refilling that happened to pick that time to fail.
Replace the cartridge. If it comes back, the cartridge was faulty. If not, then most likely the carrier is bad or the cable is loose. Worst Case Scenario, the main board. But Im betting on the cartridge.

you should go to your LEXMARK solutions center either on your desktop or in your start menue and open the maintenance program and run the alignment. select the best arrows and enter them where indicated. this should help clear up your problem with a new cartridge
