Samsung CLP 300 Laser Printer - Page 2 Questions & Answers
CLP 300 crumpling lower right hand side of paper
There is a foreign object in the paper feed path. It could be anything from a paper clip or staple through to an insect (or worse). It will definitely be on the side where the crumpling occurs. Try feeding a strip of card or thin flexible plastic backwards through the feed mechanism. A laminated sheet of paper can also be effective for this.
I was getting a message that the transfer belt
try this:
1. Press # sign; then 1934
2. Press MENU
3. Arrow to Tech Mode (not User Mode); press OK
4. DataSetup; move arrow to Clear All Memory
5. Clear All Memory; press OK
6. Choose coonutry; press OK; will erase and print out configuration report; clearing the transfer belt error.
This wipes out the counter on the Transfer Belt. Clear All Memory means all your settings are wiped out. This also reset all the counters EXCEPT the imaging unit counter.

The LSU is the Laser Scanning Unit.
You have to take out the Image Drum, The hole Unit wehre the toner is installed in. There's a green latch you have to pull and then take it out of the printer. Now you have to look inside the printer. On the ground is a small shutter, you have to pusch it to the rear side and hold it there. Under the shutter is the LSU. Now you can clean it with a non-fuzzing cloth.
Hope i can help you.

Red lite on printer-won't print
The red light on this printer would normally indicate paper jam, a cover open or the waste toner container is full. I would recommend double checking that no small bits of paper have got themselves lodged around rollers inside the printer. Failing this I would check the status of the waste toner bottle to see how full the printer thinks it is.This can normally be done using the printers software on the PC, but sadly I am unfamiliar with doing it for your particular machine.
Find the waste toner for Samsung clp 330
Open the front of the printer, and you will see the four toner drums; cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Immediately to the left of the cyan drum there is an "L" shaped drawer : That's the waste toner drawer. It pulls straight out. If you enjoy driving around and spending money, you can buy a new one. If you are frugal and practical empty it as follows:
To do this cleanly I recommend wearing a pair of latex gloves! At the top of the container there is a square opening with gray foam on the inside edges - this is where the toner can be dumped out. Take an empty bread or bagel bag and put it over the end of the cartridge far enough to cover that square hole plus another inch. Gather the end of the bag and secure it with a rubber band or tape making sure the hole of the cartridge is INSIDE but not taped shut, and the bag's edges are properly sealed. Now you can turn the cartridge upside down and agitate it in different positions until all the toner is dumped into the bag. Flick the bag with your fingers to let the toner fall to the bottom, them put around the bag to keep all the toner at the bottom, and carefully remove the tape or elastic. Using a lightly moistened paper towel clean up the cartridge and reinsert it into the printer.
Now if you haven't left too much air in the bag gently take the end with all the toner in your palm, gather the rest of the bad with it into a small ball in your fist and pull your glove off over the whole lot. take that in your other hand and remove that glove.
Voila! The cleanest toner dumping ever!
