Did you update your computer operating system software and then after installing your new drivers for your printer, restart your computer?

Go to GOOGLE and enter your name and model of your printer along with the word DRIVER
There you can download the driver needed so you can print

You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.
And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

HOW DO YOU RESET HP DESK JET 2360.iT KEEPS SAYING PAPER JAM,BUT THERE IS NO PAPER IN IT.

The new cartridge that you might have installed is not functioning or else the cartridge is not installed properly. You can take out the new cartridge and examine it if there is any foreign material on its circuit at the back. Also you can try to take out the other color cartridge as well and test the printer with the new back one. I believe that you are using HP 21 Black Inkjet Print Cartridge. If still you are not able to do so, check your printer with the old one again if it is working (leaving the printing as we know that one might be out of ink). If the result is positive, you can go ahead and replace the new cartridge.

Make sure your printer cover and the paper tray is properly closed. If they are, see if the sensor for the cover has any deffects

Paper jam or there is no paper in tray, try to replace the catridge,catridge may be dry

Re you using refilled cartridges (worst possible choice) or third party cartridges (a really bad choice)?

These types of cartridges all by them selves make up about 80% of the cartridge problems I work on.

You should consider using only factory new cartridges from the manufacturer of your printer.

If you don't have the installer cd you should have at least a file copy of the driver installer in your computer, if you don't have a copy you can download one on the website of your printer's manufacturer, if you already have a copy of the driver click setup of there is an icon for setup, if there is none do it by going to the Control Panel, Add New Hardware.

Go to HP driver and support website, enter your printer model number, and it will provide you with the printer software to download

yes this can be possible there are times that when you get a new printer it seems like the ink goes very quick.i always recommend that you buy extra ink cartridges when u perches a printer

HP.com has the drivers so does Download.com CNN.com Make sure you match your operating system ie...WinXP Sp1...Vista....Win3.1....
when you get to site with your drivers check the drivers by saving to a file named for your printer makes it easier to find later for reinstall issues....
