The black toner 106R01274 may be bad or empty. Try replacing that first.

It is possible that the Image unit is bad also 108R00744

Replace the drum unit.

I have the Samsumg version of this printer CLX-3160. Sounds like the paper takeup roller is not able to grab the paper. What does the LCD display say when this happens? I don't know what software came with your printer, but Samsung provides a PC Smart Panel software that gives a better diagnostic capability. If you have not installed it, install it and see what it says the trouble is? Hope this helps.

Image units can't be reset by software. There is a chip that needs to be replaced on the cartridge if you refill it with new toner. It should be available from the same place you got the toner. (I assume you refilled it and it still says it is out of toner)

Use the RESET feature (see the user manual page 43 or about).
Set it to: RESET ALL.
The problem should now be solved.

For me this used to happen quite a lot. Finally I figured out it was because the waste toner container was full.Buy a new one, or empty it.

The fuser is located inside the "Imagning unit" and can not be replaced separately.

Dev. Home error can be fixed by stretching out a solenoid spring on the power cord side of the printer. The solenoid acts as a clutch to stop the spinning developer actuator at the right spot.

The problem is that the spring gets weak over time / the cogs round out over time and the solenoid finger is overcome by the spinning cogs, and resulting in selecting the wrong developer.

Open up the right side (power cord side) of the printer (take off top cover, then take off side cover). Then, find a solenoid (little metal square) that touches the white plastic vertical spur gear. Take the spring off the solenoid. Now, put the spring back on - only this time you will attach one anchor point to the middle of the spring as to pre-stretch the spring for more tension.

by removing all the toner one by one check for toner spill clean it check the roller and the drum wipe it with soft cloth gently not to make a scratch on it

But I believe this is another case where a version hasn't been created for Windows 7 and therefore will not run.
