Every time I go to plug my vivitar sports camcorder in to charge it does not charge . but when I try to turn it on MSDC appears on the screen and then it cuts off. Why I have an s.d. card in and I have not even gotten to use the camcorder at all yet

Hello, Gary - I can only guess that you do not have a user manual for your Vivitar Vivicam F124 camera. If so . . . This is a link for you download the manual (PDF format - will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software - free) and save the manual for free: https://www.manualslib.com/products/Vivitar-Vivicam-F124-2958405.html Page 60 (PDF image 61) gives the instructions for manually transferring images on the camera to a computer.
