If you are using the Sony Sonic Stage software, then it might be
a good idea to just format the MP3 player and start over downloading music to it. You have to use the Sony Sonic Stage software or else it gives you the NO DATA BASE error, even if
you have music on it.

Try the following:
1) Plug the USB MP3 player to your PC then reboot.
2) On windows, go to windows explorer then right on the USB MP3 player and click format.
3) If you get the same error you might run out of memory.
4) Free some installed programs by uninstalling then try steps 1 and 2 again.

You maybe able to use Windows Media Player 10 or 11, if you want to try well connect your mp3 player to the computer now wait a few seconds then go to Windows Media Player ( if your using windows media player 10 i recommend you to update to media player 11 for better results but if not when your on Windows Meda Player look for a link called "Sync" when you've found it click on that.

Now your on "Sync" if should have found your mp3 player now just drag and drop music you wish to have on your mp3 player on the side panel where it's got a little image of an mp3 player.

Once you've added the music, safely remove the mp3 player like you normally would then see if the music has successfully tranfered.

Here is the new Windows Media Player 11 if you haven't got it already.

i can help you with this. You need the firmware software of Sony NW-E002. Then the SonicStage software and its security update as well. I have this files if you need it.

GO TO ITS SETTINGS,THEN FORMATE IT FROM THE SETINGS BUT NOT THE COMPUTER,AFTER THAT DOWNLOAD SONIC STAGE 4.3 WHICH WILL SEND COMPATIBLE MUSIC FILES TO YOUR DEVICE MEDIA.ACTUAL THATS THE OPEN MAGIC GATE AUDIOS(OMGAUDIO)

I simply downloaded sonic stage 4.3 on my pc which automatically sends music files to my player.but before all this i formated the player without using a computer,i formated it from the player itself in the advanced settings

not plays mp3..says no data but in that are songs..i need the driver

u must to format it in FAT not FAT32

well all mp3 need 2.0 so you ithere invest in a hub carrier with it own power sorce or get a internal usb port but it must be 2.0 or moor
