Brother MFC-620 CN message 'Unable

This error is related to several issues, but mostly it's an issue with the Purge Counter, means it's full. Follow the steps to reset the purge counter.
  1. Turn Off the Machine
  2. Switch On the machine while holding down the "menu"button until all the leds are flashing on/off. Now you are in "maintenance" mode.
  3. Press 8 0
  4. Press the "mono start" button several times until you see "purge: xxxx" (xxxx are digits)
  5. Press "2 7 8 3" in order to reset the purge counter. You will see: "purge:0000"
  6. Press the "stop" button.
  7. Press "9 9" to exit the maintenance mode.

If the above method doesn't help, there must be actual paper jam or something obstruction the movement of the printer. You can try with this steps recommended by Brother (Click Here).

If the problem persists, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Not printing glossy A4 paper / paper jam / no paper feed

dont use thick photo paper like 230 gsm up, instead use 180 gsm papers. but if you dont want to waste the purchased thick photo papers, you can open the back and manually insert the paper once the printing process started. i tried this as a trial & error basis until i had perfected it.... hope it works with yours.
