To do a factory reset, you have to enter its service mode. Service mode only have the option to do this. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name/model number/IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.

go to menu select auto tune

No it is not destroyed it is probably just a loose solder connection. Please have a tech check it out . This shouldn't be expensive at all

That means there are no more updates for that TV. You might want to get a newer TV.

Go to home setting on remote. Go to audio settings on tv. Adjust sound from there down to suitable level.
