This means that the photoconductor has reached the end of life; on other printers, this is called the drum. It transfers the toner onto the page during printing so that it will fuse to the paper. Put the assembly on a flat surface. Remove the toner cartridge by pressing the button on the assembly and pulling on the handle. Open the new photoconductor kit and snap the toner cartridge into place on it. Then slide the new assembly into the printer. After installing this, you need to reset the photoconductor counter. With the printer on, open the front cover and press and hold Stop for 5+ seconds. When you see Resetting PC Counter release the Stop button. Close the front cover when prompted to do so. If this doesn't clear the error, try powering off the printer for 10 seconds. The 936 and 937 error codes indicate that the printer thinks there is a problem with the main drive motor.

Solution

1. If your printer is posting one of these errors, turn it off and let it sit powered off for at least a minute.
2. While the printer is off, open all of the doors and covers on the printer. Also remove the toner cartridge. Make sure there is no paper jammed in the printer. Pay close attention to the area where the toner cartridge sits. The main motor is located just to the left of the toner cartridge.
3. If nothing appears to be wrong with the inside of the printer, reinstall the toner cartridge and close all the doors and covers. Now power the printer back on. If the error does not return, try printing again.
4. If the error does not return when you print, continue using the printer. If the error does not return after a few days, this may have been an isolated incident and the printer should be fine.

Its an Error Related to a Paper Jam on the Paper Roll Tray!!!!!Please Check the Inside of the Printer if there are any Bits of Paper which are stuck on it!!! That would cause this Error Message to Appear!!!!Good Luck!!!!

General tip: If the paper tears when you pull a jam out of the printer, spread the paper out and make sure you have all of the pieces. A small shred left inside can cause another jam.

"I also can the drum" - does this mean you discarded the printer cartridge? I've never seen a cartridge cause a jam. Usually an accordion-fold jam in this area is the result of the fuser rollers not turning or a torn fuser sleeve. A jam without an accordion fold indicates that the paper did not make it into the toner deposition area soon enough - this could be a problem with the pickup roller or the next set of rollers. Worn or dirty rollers can work intermittently before they quit completely.

Also, check the paper detection flag to make sure it isn't hanging up (this is a black plastic tab that sticks into the paper path just before the paper goes under the cartridge, and is pushed up or down by the paper). Look for the U-shaped optical detector that is interrupted by this flag, and make sure it isn't blocked by foreign material.

The exit sensor at the fuser is activated by a piece of media indicating. There is a piece of media in the machine during POST (Power-On Self Test).

Check for media in the exit of the fuser assembly or redrive assembly. Feed a sheet of paper, and if the same error occurs after clearing the fuser or the same error occurs when no media is present, check the exit sensor assembly.
