If the built in flash is not working it might just not be worth repairing. Sony products when they are working are great but when they go down they can be a bear to fix and the cost is usually prohibitive when you combine the labor along with the price of the part.
Taking those cameras apart is real nasty business, with lots of real tiny screws and ..............U can either get a new camera or replace it with a used, working one on ebay - that is what I did.

Hi,
The E:61:00 error code displayed on the Camera screen indicates that a Camera malfunction that you cannot reverse has occurred. This seems to be an internal malfunction of the Camera. You may try resetting the Camera by pressing the RESET button located at the base of the Camera. You can use any sharp pointed objects like ball pen or paper clip for resetting the Camera.
You may also try power resetting the Camera. To power reset the Camera, turn off the Camera and remove the battery pack. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Remain the Camera without power for 60 seconds and reinsert the battery.
If the issue persists, service may be required as this is an internal malfunction
Thanks for using FixYa.

All Sony brand of cameras feature USB ports. Check the camera for markings/ indicators on the body. It would sometimes be covered by a flap or cover that requires manual opening.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
