"Card error" usually means the camera wants you to format the card in the camera but you should have downloaded the contents to your computer first using a card reader if necessary. Your "friends" should have warned you about that. Formatting completely erases the card and optimizes it for the camera it was formatted in.

The lens of the camera is stuck/broken. Contact service center.

You need to eliminate the pics from the internal memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, insert your card and do the "format" thing again for the card. Everything should be normal now.

How many photos or videos do you have on the camera already? It probably won't store more than about 4 shots.

You can only use the charger for your make and model !!! DO NOT USE ANY OTHER CHARGER OR DAMAGE WILL RESULT.

Electronics never give us any warnings, they just fail !! it is repair time.

If you are sure it is not a battery problem then the unit needs repaired.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Connect the camera's USB cable to the camera and then plug the other end of the USB cable into the computer's USB port. The computer will see the camera as an external storage device, open this device and folders to copy the photos to your computer.

Hi please try to do this and let me know. Remove the battery and give a look inside the battery compartment with spot light. Make sure that place are clean and there no damaged mark. Specially look the Battery connector pins. That should in proper place , not bend, not even sulfur layer there. Use ear buds and drop of alcohol for cleaning. After checking if every thing Ok then some how the power supply not able to connect the circuit board. Its happens when the connectivity cable disconnected or damaged, circuit board short or the power transformer stop working. For all this internal fault part confirmation you need to visit electronic repair center. but before visit for repairing make sure the battery which one you use that's is fully charged with working condition. If the DCIM folder is where the camera keeps its images, then you have no images on the card.

Otherwise, have a browse through the memory card for another folder. The folders are named differently depending on your camera. My Pentax keeps them in "DCIM", but Kodak (for example) might keep them in a different folder.

Take the memory card, if any, out of the camera then use the "Format" command in the Setup menu, as described on page 59 of the manual. Without a card in the camera, the operations described for the memory card apply to the internal memory.

HiTry formatting the SD card before using it.Also,check the storage destination of the pictures,could be they're storing on your camera and not in the memory card.Make the SD card the default storage device.Hope it helps.

I don't think that camera (the Samsung NV3) takes SDHC cards. The same is true of many (perhaps most) cameras that were released more than a year or two ago.

You need to use a regular SD card, which -- as you probably know -- isn't any bigger than 2G.
