Aiptek IS-DV2 Camcorder - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
It keeps saying card protected
Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
I need to have an instruction booklet mailed to me
You can download a copy of the manual from the manufacturer's web site at
http://www.goaiptek.com/manuals/manual-isdv2.pdf
I'll be happy to print and mail it to you if you're willing to pay for paper and postage.
Memory full but no memory card in why is that?
Sounds like the internal memory, which is 16mb flash memory is full, the sd card that you can insert and use to take pictures on is an expansion of the internal memory. Trying moving those pictures or video to your pc or deleting them if you dont need them and that should take care of the problem.
I hope this helps.
I lost my disk for aiptek IS-DV2
http://driverscollection.com/?H=IS-DV2&By=Aiptekkeep in mind that this here might be just the driver for to make the communication between devices..for to import and manage you may still need a manager or a program ...Im not sure what this model uses..

Thanx!
I need help with my memory
That's why ist says so. According to the manual, there is an internal memory. (I don't seem to be able to put pictures there.) Anyway, since the onboard memory does not seem to exist, the camera has no place to write the image to. Hence, it displays the message "memory full", which is easiest.
Try using an SD Card.
When I turn it on the focuse is way off and I cant
make sure unit is in auto focus mode. check if lens is set to macro focus. If these are find see if the lens will focus on anything close up or far away, If so the internal lens may require service. I have seen the ribbon cable from the lens come loose from the main board on these also.
Unable to download stills photos to my computer
You dont need drivers its plug in play.
when you plug your cam to your computer your cam shows up as a new hard drive.
But if you wont the software go back to the Aipteck Homepage, then to the DV2.4 page any drives you wont will be there.
hope I could help.
