I533 picture problem
Hi Cristennn,
I am sorry to hear that your pictures are now missing.
Unfortunately, to format a storage device (such as a drive or your camera's memory) means, in simple terms, to delete the contents and reset it like a clean slate. By choosing to format your camera, you have most likely deleted what was in the memory.
Geek Squad® offers data recovery services on a carry-in basis. It may be possible to recover the pictures from your camera. I suggest you visit your Geek Squad® precinct at your local Best Buy™ store to see if this may be a possibility for you.
I also suggest that you download your camera’s contents often and maintain a backup of your pictures. This way if this or something else happens to your files in the future you will still have a copy.
Thank you,
Jason,

How to unprotect the memory card
If I understand correctly what your asking what is the brand and size of the memory card. If I were to take a stab at it right now I would assume there is a lock/unlock switch on the card. Have you had this problem with the card before?
Good luck,
Lee
Black screen; like no other problem. ;P
OK, as crazy as it sounds, give the came a few good whacks on the side. It seems like there's internal problems, but it got my camera working. Do I get my money now?
Re:sd card
The SD card has a "lock" lever on it...make SURE it is in the "unlock" position.
You might also try using an SD card reader. These are VERY inexpensive on Ebay- but your computer has to have Windows 2000 installed for these readers to work.
Card error
I had the same problem...
I TURNED OFF the camera, opened the battery hatch, removed and re-seated the SD card, closed the battery hatch-
...and the camera worked.
Lens Wont Come Out & Beeps 3 times.?!?!
exact thing happened to me.
im guessing the lens is sticking out a little bit?
Try lining it back up.
Make the lens lined up.
or push the lens in lightly.
i did it and it worked for me.

Hello
I have the exact same problem my camera does turn on and takes pictures but that screen is black.
PINK POLAROID I733 CAMERA LENS
Here is how I fixed this problem. I grasped the lens around the base
(larger part) like you would if you were going take off a beer bottle
cap.
Very gently while sliding my thumb and index finger
around the lens, I rocked it back and forth. DO NOT TRY TO TWIST OR
PUSH,.....It felt like it "popped" back on track.
My
assumption was it was probably hit from the side, and could not
retract, once it was rocked back on track, it worked fine. It felt like
it loosened a tiny bit as well.
Good luck.

The lens is stuck out
My daughter just had this problem with her camera. The camera was off with the lens barrel extended. When I looked at it closely, I noticed that the inner part of the lens barrel was at a slight angle to the camera. I pushed firmly on the low side of the inner part of the barrel, and it popped the rest of the way out. Camera works fine now. Good luck!
Save to card
Do you want the Long version?
- With camera off, insert formated sd card.
- Turn on camera
- Set camera to play back
- Press the menu button
- press the Macro button or Flash button to select the icon that has the camera with the arrow to the sd card
- press the up or down button to sellect the desired setting
- press the set/disp to select single or all.
I think you can handle it from there.

I dropped my camera
Look in the back of your manual for the manufacturers contact information and contact them for repair.
Battery Problems
I had problem with the "brand new" battereis that came with camera (date on batteries was thru 2014) ... after 2 or 3 pictures ... camera would not work. I replaced with fresh batteries ... works great now. I checked voltage on shipped batteries (that came with camera) ... was about 1.3 volts ... new battereis should be 1.55+ volts. This suggests that shipped "brand new| batteries ... are not "brand new". I called Polaroid .. best I got was "sorry" ... and "call Duracell".
