Why is my Olympus FE430 camera zoom lens jammed?

Either it has received a knock or other accidental blow, or else there is foreign matter (dirt, crumbs, grit etc) in the mechanism. It would cost far more than a replacement camera to have it serviced, I'm afraid, and is certainly not the kind of task to be attempted without expert knowledge.

My sim card is full on my olympus fe-270. How do I delete the photos so I can use the camera again? Thank you.

There will be options within the menu system that enable you to delete individual images, or to format the entire card for re-use. Do not forget to back up the images you wish to retain to your computer prior to deleting them. Alternatively, you can just purchase a new card to use in your camera, thus ensuring that all your precious images are safe. BTW, I think you may mean media card, not sim card. Sim cards are used in phones, not cameras.

Farmville olympus

EIRENE (Irene) was the goddess of peace and the season of spring. She was one of the three Horai (Horae), deities of the seasons and keepers of the gates of heaven. Her sisters were Eunomia (Good Order) and Dilke (Justice). Eirene's name is the Greek word for peace (eir?n?) but it is also closely connected with the word for spring (eiar, eiarinos). In ancient Greece late spring was the traditional campaign season, the time when peace was most at risk. Eirene was probably identified with the Hora Thallo (Green Shoots), whose name Hesiod uses as an epithet for Eirene in theTheogony. Her opposite number was Polemos (War). In classical art the goddess usually appears in the company of her two sister Horai bearing the fruits of the seasons. Statues of the goddess often depict her as a maiden holding the infant Ploutos (Plutus) (Wealth) in her arms. In this guise she was identified with the Demeter and Tykhe (Tyche), the goddesses of agricultural bounty. Hope this helps

Model VG 130, it says write protect. I moved the sliding switch, I tried a new card, but it still says write protect?

Have you tried formatting your card in the camera? Tried resetting camera to default settings?

New batteries and after one photo get "battery empty" beep.

If you are using inexpensive alkaline batteries, they will not have the power to take as many pictures as re-chargeable 2500mAh batteries. They may see expensive to begin with, but can be recharged up to 1000 times, so pay for themselves in no time.

Photos are coming out blurry

There could be several reasons for this - pick the most likely ! If the entire image is blurry, with no sharp detail, it could be camera shake, or subject movement, especially at longer focal lengths (i.e. at the telephoto end of the zoom range). Try using a tripod or other firm support and see if that improves things. If only parts of the image are blurry (i. e. the background is sharp but closer objects are not) then the autofocus system could be selecting the wrong area upon which to focus - try using lock focus on the subject, then re-compose. The front element of protective filter could need cleaning - carefully! The camera could have suffered a knock which has dislodged one or more of the internal lens elements - in which case, a visit to the repair centre is called for.

How can i fix my OLYMPUS 170 DIGICAM. It won't open and won't work also

See page 12. Using the computer it can take up to 10 hours to charge. I would remove the battery and charge in a separate charger. The Olympus cameras have been exceptionable for me. In the over 110K photos I have taken with mind I have gone through several batteries. http://www.olympusamerica.com/files/oima_cckb/VG-170_MANUAL_EN.pdf Caution it suggests not taking pictures with the AC adapter connected. However it says you can review. Hope this has helped?

I dropped my Olympus FE-340 digital camera. It will not open when I turn it on. The lens stays closed and inside the front of the camera.

Sounds as if an internal linkage has become misaligned. Not user serviceable, unless you are an expert - scamper down to your local friendly camera dealer or repair facility and see how much they would charge. May be cheaper to replace the camera, unfortunately.

What kind of memory card does a Cannon Olympus SP-55OUZ camera use?

ummm.. just insert the darn thing and see if the camera will use it. It is smart enough to know what cards it can recognize. Also I've heard of Canon cameras and Olympus cameras but did not know they made one together.
