Panasonic SDR-H18 Camcorder - I would like to
Did you ever figure out how to do this? I have misplaced the cord to transfer files from the HD to the computer, and I would like to not have to purchase one through Panasonic (Best Buy didn't have one). I just want to transfer the files from the HD to the SD card while in the camera, and then take the card out and put it in the Mac. Any luck?

My sdr-h18 will not turn on even after i charged
This is usually caused by a failed component in the power circuit within the camera and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

Panasonic SDR-H18 Camcorder I get no audio
I found, from the Best Buy Geek Squad, that all Hard Drive Video cams use a audio format that only works with their hardware. If you burn a DVD (using their software) is audio will be present.

Panasonic SDR-H18
You also have to plug it into the power source. They put it together with the charger. Get the charger and you will see that you can plug the AC adaptor cable in the other end. This allows you to power up when you are using the USB.

How to connect SDR-H18 to IEEE-1934 port
I had a look and it looks like a regular mini usb cable that you need to connect to your laptop, or a regular mini firewire cable, both are available online for under $10 or at a local electronics store

Where is it ?
You don't say how you edited your video and created the DVD. Assuming you using Imagemixer 3 that comes with Panasonics, there is a *.i3e (project) file somewhere. By default on my Windows XP system, it is at C:\\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\ImageMixer3\VideoEditorxx.
