Can't correct playlist and album

Hello,

Thanks for using FixYa.

You need to edit the mp3 tag by using a different software. Windows Media player has a built in anti copyright software that would prevent you from editing the mp3 tag. Your player may have this kind of protection too. You need to extract you mp3s from your player and use a free software from http://www.mp3tag.de/en/. This software will let you freely modify MP3 tags.

I hope this helps. Thanks and good day.

I have several mp3 audio files I ripped from CDs

Hello,

When the info is missing, check the settings in the RIP function of Windows Media Player.
1. During ripping there should be an internet connection.
2. For WMP11 the setting for retreiving media info from the internet should be selected under RIP > More Options... > Privacy:

52adbf1.jpg
For more info about getting the matching media info, look under RIP > Help with Ripping.
Getting the information directly, when ripping a new CD or
afterwards when the album is already in mp3 format.

If this was helpful I'd appreciate your reply.

Computer does not show entire contents of mp3 player.

Hello,
Albums that have been put on the player in Windows Media Player in MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) mode can be viewed in the Microsoft Media Player.
Hidden music can be viewed in MSC mode when switching the player into this mode, viewing the player as a removable disk. Warning: when switching the player into MSC mode be sure to go through safely remove hardware, the icon in the right corner of the computer's screen.
How to switch to MSC mode, have a view in the manual. Select your version player online from the support page:

Only one of my earphones work for my mp3 player

Make sure that you've pushed the earphone plug all the way in. Some Sansa players have very tight earphone jacks. If that doesn't work, it's likely that the player is broken.

I can not add music

In Windows Explorer, right-click on your drive I: and select "Properties". In the displayed window will be two numbers, "used space" and "free space" ... make sure you have enough free space to hold the music you're trying to copy to it. If you think you have enough free space, post back with the numbers, and we'll go from there.
