A week ago our oven stopped working during

Had similar problem with my oven. Turn off the breaker to the oven/range and remove the panel which exposes the controls. You will probably find a burned spot on the pc board. Mine was where a spade lug plugged a wire to the board and caused by a loose connector at that lug. I hard wired/soldered the wire to the board (new board was $200+) and the repair lasted several years.

Oven over heats and gives a 1D11 fault

I have a similar unit with a similar problem, and found the Maytag troubleshooting manual online. Code 1d11 means the the unit reached 600 degrees (not supposed to get that hot). Basically, it had a runaway temperature. The computer does not know why it happened, so it just tells you that it happened by showing code 1d11. But you can tell what went wrong by your description of the problem: the broiler element was turned on without any command from you. Which means the swithc/relay in the electronic control unit is bad. I am guessing it was fried when you ran the oven through the self-cleaning phase (should not get fried with this little of heat--it was defective to begin with). Mine just went bad after 4 years of use. You can get an electronic control unit for this unit for around $170 at Sears online parts store. Notice that Maytag has replaced the old part number for this electronic control unit with a new one, which probably means they had a design flaw and have fixed it.

1 threw 6 on key

I am having the same problem but on numbers 6-0. I will be looking into the problem via the component level (resistor, capacitor, etc...) and post my solution. Seems like a waste of money to replace a whole board when it is likely a component worth less than a few dollars.

Control Panel will not let you select the numbers

Hello,

the problem is from the control board of your electric gas range. The control board needs to be replaced for thee control panel numbers to work well again.

The problem now would be; how to replace the control panel? This requires a skilled knowledgeable person personal. Electric gas range store a lot of current and cannot just be tempered with.

So, I would suggest to contact a repairman. But If you have a technical ability and believe, this is something you can do yourself, please let me know so that I may direct you further.

Good luck.

Either works. Do what is easier. If you g with the 3 wire the white on the range has to be connected to the chassis as well as the terminal connector. Eric

Jenn-air JGS9900 downdraft slide in gas range - no power and electrical outlet IS working

There are several possible reasons why your Jenn-air JGS9900 gas range may not have power:
  1. Tripped Circuit Breaker: Check the circuit breaker for the range in your home's electrical panel to see if it has tripped. If it has, reset it.
  2. Loose Electrical Connection: Check the power cord connection to the range to make sure it is secure. Also, check the wiring connections behind the range to ensure they are properly connected.
  3. Blown Fuse: If your range has a fuse, check to see if it has blown. You may need to replace it.
  4. Faulty Control Board: The control board is responsible for supplying power to the range's electronic components. If the control board is faulty, it may need to be replaced.
  5. Faulty Igniter: If the burners are not igniting, the igniter may be faulty and need to be replaced.
If none of these solutions work, it may be best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue.

Jenn-Air jgs8860bdp broiler doesn't ignite.

There are a few potential issues that could cause the problems you're experiencing with your Jenn-Air broiler. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Make sure the gas supply to the broiler is turned on and that there are no blockages in the gas line.
  2. Check the gas valve to make sure it is open and functioning properly.
  3. Make sure the gas burners are clean and free of any debris or obstruction.
  4. Check the broiler burner for proper ignition. It should ignite within a few seconds of turning on the broiler. If it does not, the burner orifice may be clogged and will need to be cleaned.
  5. Check the gas pressure to the broiler. If the gas pressure is too low, it can cause the flames to be low or go out.
  6. Make sure the broiler igniter is properly seated and connected.

Model 8114P955-60. When oven self-cleaning is selected, why does it indicate 'FEATURE IS NOT AVAILABLE'?

Usually a problem with the door lock. Self cleaning cycles invariably break things due to the extreme heat (650'F). I advise NEVER to use them.
