You probably need to flash your chipset in order to take that much memory in your pc. What kind of computer is it? what operating system are you using? did you check the specs to see how much memory is the max that your system can take? What chipset is installed? Try removing some of the memory to reduce the load, then flash your bios and reboot. Add the rest of the memory and see if that solves your problem and allows the pc to load as normal.

My guess is that your have a failure in:
The hardrive because you get a blue screen
its a typical problem when windows not loading normaly
could be a bad sectors on the drive.
The ram
Or the cpu due to maybe over heating

Or the mainboad is simply have a defect.

Try just using 512Mb of memory or less as there was a bug in Me and 9x that produced that error if you had more than 512 Mb of ram.

hey.. if your chipset is getting heated badly. then that is a big problem..may be because you don't have proper cooling solutions in your cabinet, and now if it is not starting that means some of it's components like capacitors are blown off. you might have to buy new MB or if this is in warranty period then try to replace. and put some fans there dude good luck!!

Hello, The constant beeping that you are hearing is due to the memory sticks not being recognized or installed correctly. Please check your manual for the motherboard to make sure that the type being installed on the motherboard is the same listed in the manual -this is most likely the problem. If they are compatible then perhaps the cards are not seated fully in their sockets or in the wrong ones for your board.

that motherboard only has DDR slots (4 of them), so, no you cannot use DDR2 RAM modules.
If you do manage to make it fit, the pins won't line up because DDR can be 184pin or 200pin, and DDR2 can be 214-pin, 240-pin, 244-pin.
Since your memory slots or only DDR, there is no way that the DDR2 would make the connections that it would need to make in order for it to work.

There is no official driver for this motherboard for Windows 7 op. system. I suggest you to use the win XP 32bit version (in case you don't have it, here is the link to download it). Download it at your computer, right click on it, click on properties, click on the compatibility tab and choose compatibility for windows xp, sp3. Click on apply - close. Run as administrator the installation file.
This problem is very common with old hardware and windows 7. At most of the cases this trip works.

May be the RAM Problem

For solving the problem do the following:

1. Remove the RAM(s) from its positions / place from the mother board
2. Clean the RAM slots inside the mother board with a neat and dry brush
3. Rub the "RAM (Copper Bottom) with an eraser or with hands gently for a few seconds.
4. Place the RAM in their slots and restart the system

By lowering the WATTS from 550 down to 300, you may find the P.C. starts shutting down or restarting, as it does not have enough power to operate everything inside the tower. You need to add up all the WATTS on the different things running on power ( i.e. Motherboard, Graphics Card, RAM, Fans, Sound Card,USB plug-ins, HDD, CD/DVD drive). You maybe not have all listed but by lowering the power might be not worth it to be honest.
