My Amana french door/bottom freezer

Two possibilities: 1. A cracked plastic tube. These will leak whenever there's a call for water - either the chilled water dispenser, or re-filling the icemaker tray (two seperate tubes). Pay particular attention to anywhere the tubes are clamped to the chassis; anywhere they're routed near or under the refrigeration unit; and near the solenoid valve - especially if there's a tight loop in the tube there. 2. A bad (leaking) connection where one of the tubes exits the water valve. Again, these will leak whenever the valve is activated. Those plastic tubes don't last forever. I've replaced many of them for the same symptoms. They're known to simply deteriorate with age. Manuf's make good money selling replacement tubing kits.

Maytag mbf2258hew replace jazz board

bug, the jazz board is pretty easy to replace. The light cover will slide off toward the back. Now if you look behind the control panel you will see two slots. Take a flat blade screw driver and push the cover tabs in while pulling down on the cover. The cover will come down. Two slats slide in on the front and will release, disconnect the harnesses and install the new board. Reverse the process. Catriver.

Mod# ABB1922FEW... the freezer works fine but the refrigerator is warm, there is very little food in the freezer.

If the vent from the freezer to the refrigerator is not blocked with food or paper particles, then it's likely the defrost system is not working properly. You will need a technician to determine the cause.

Refrigerator not getting cold

Hello,

A refrigerator not cold enough is a hassle, because you are at risk of spoiling the foods you store in there. Most often, this problem is caused by something easy to fix.
1. Faulty Door Gaskets

The door gaskets in a refrigerator ensure a sealed closure every time you shut the door. Torn or loose gaskets on the door of the refrigerator can result in a leak in the cold air. As a result, the refrigerator is warmer. Repetitive and frequent opening and closing of the refrigerator is also a possible cause, because the warm air from outside replaces the cold air in the refrigerator every time you open it.
2. Dirty Condenser Coils

Dirty condenser coils can result in improper functioning of the refrigerator. These coils are located on the back or the underside of refrigerators. If you find this to be the cause of the problem, unplug the refrigerator before you attempt any cleaning.
3. Frost-free Feature not Working

If the frost-free feature fails, it causes a buildup of frost around the evaporator coils in the freezer. This causes a malfunctioning of the evaporator fan that blows cold air around. The fan can also be damaged if it hits the frost.
4. Faulty or Incorrect Temperature Control

A faulty thermostat can lead to a refrigerator that is not maintaining the desired coldness. Check for this problem and also ensure that the temperature is set to the correct level. Normally, refrigerators are set to a temperature of about 0°C, whereas the freezer sections are around -17°C.
5. Inadequate Air Flow inside Refrigerator

A refrigerator that is loaded with too many food items can fail to maintain an adequate level of coolness across all the items kept in it. The surface items tend to be colder, and the items underneath do not become as cold. A refrigerator that has very few items in it can also fail to function efficiently. Try to ensure that your refrigerator has enough food in it at all times, but is not so loaded that the air flow gets constricted.
6. Vents between Freezer and Refrigerator Clogged

The vents between the freezer and refrigerating section blow cold air from the freezer across to the refrigerator. If these vents are clogged with ice, the air is blocked and the refrigerator does not cool down. If this is the case, you can unplug the refrigerator, wait for the ice to melt and then connect it back to the power supply.
7. Faulty Door Switch

The door switch is found on the bottom of refrigerator doors. It turns off the light in the refrigerator and resumes cooling action when you close the door. If this switch is not functioning properly, the refrigerator will not be cold and it will also be affected by the heat of the interior light.
8. Refrigerant Leak

A refrigerant leak is very unlikely. This problem can cause malfunctioning of your refrigerator. If you suspect this to be the cause, contact a service technician.

I hope this will help in solving thee problem...

I have an Amana refrigerator

you need the defrost heater replaced by the sounds of it.
when u unplugged it you allowed the build up of ice on the evaporator to melt therefore increasing the air flow again.

It will be much better if you leave it switched off for a couple of hours. I believe there is excess ice build up inside the ice maker which has frozen up the tilting mechanism. Letting this ice melt away should solve this problem

Amana AFB2534 freezer is regularly getting frost

This is either of three defrost parts. The timer, heater or defrost limit switch. Most amana's I fix have a bad limit switch which is clipped to the freezer coils directly. Spin your defrost timer till it clicks and check the same frost laden wall to see if the frost starts to steam and melt. If not, unplug the fridge, then try disconnecting the limit switch and join those 2 wires together. Replug and see if the heater starts steaming. If it doesn't it is most likely the timer. The heater is usually the last thing to die, unless your heaters are encased in glass. In which case a quick visual inspection for decay and separation will pinpoint the problem.

My Amana AFB2534DEW fridge is leaking onto floor,

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.
Take a bare copper wire and wrap it around a fin near the heater and put the other end a few inches down the drain. The heat convection may prevent it from freezing.
