My computer (3.0 GHz Pentium

Checked your RAM chips? Remove them and boot up and see if it will beep. If you have another DVD drive, swap it and try again. The board battery rarely goes, and only change it when it is not keeping the date/time etc, it won't help in outputting video.

Hi,my computer stop working suddenly,and

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

hope this helps

Reboot, and enter BIOS SETUP mode.
Choose "Load Default Settings".
This will "undo" any overclocking of your motherboard and of your CPU.

Asus logo comes up on boot but cant enter bios or

Most Asus motherboards by default have the USB ports enabled in the bios.
Buy the item, Y adapter below to bypass the PS/2 keyboard port on the motherboard; http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat_id=1538&sku=27225
You should be able to enter the bios using a USB port. Or buy a single PS/2 to USB; http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat_id=1538&sku=35700

AGP card not working. I replace another one and

Have you entered bios on start up.
In bios you usuly have the choise to chose between AGP or PCI graphic card so i think that's where the problem is.
Usually you have to hit the Del(delete) button on start up an go to "save & exit" when you`r done.
Read the user manual for the main-board if needed!
I`l hope this will fix it.

The bios is not installed

Go to BIOS, under Advanced > PCI Configuration. Disable Onboard ATA device if you're not using RAID. Also, make sure under Boot Menu that Other boot device do not show SCSI/Onboard ATA.

Hope that helps.

Did you try removing each memory module individually... Instead of just moving them around.. because the error you are receiving is a bad memory error code.

Hi there
Try resetting the CMOS either by removing the battery from the motherboard for 20 mins and make sure the power cord is removed from the back of the machine. When you put the battery back you will have to set the time and date again
