We recently did a massive cleaning of our carpets and this thing needs to be cleaned out really bad. We can not figure out how to get, what the book calls the Floor Nozzle Window cover off. It is the clear piece you watch the dirty water go through. Please help!! Thanks in advance!

Post your email address and I'll send you pictures of how it comes off. Make sure the tank is removed and the handle is back, so press on the pedal to release the handle. The reason if feels like it's going to break, it's because there's a seal all around the clear cover to ensure suction and water stay within that area. Pull it straight up, with force.

HOW DOES ONE CONNECT A BISSELL **7901 SERIES**PROHEAT AUTO MIX PISTON TO A BISSELL AUTO MIX KNOB???
Take of the housing ,turn it over and you will see the under side of the auto mix dial , Then turn the auto mix dial to rinse only;
On the top of the piston you will see a small slot , this fits into
the out side spiral on the auto mix knob with the dial set to rinse only the top part of the spiail sould point to the courner
Tilt the piston slightly, then hook it on the point of the auto mix knob , when you turn the auto mix dial to heavy traffic the piston should slide down the outer spiral of the auto mix-dial ,
Put the housing back on with the auto mix dial set to heavy traffic, but make sure no tubes are trapped or this will stop the flow of water,
i hope you can under stand what i have wrote ,Goodluck

My brush would not turn and I noticed that something red had melted where the belt was suppose to be turning. I took the part to my local repair shop and they sold me a replacement pump. There's a problem. I don't know how to get the old pump out. I don't see any screws or anything. How do I get the cover off the top in order to replace the pump?
unplug unit first
take six screws out of housing.
lift of housing.
you can see pump at front of machine.
four screws hold pump in.
make sure all tubes are routed correctly.replace housing,
make sure no tubes are trapped

Bissell Proheat Pro-Tech Mod #7901 Will not spray any liquid to the carpet and red cross indicator is not turning It is not spraying either the soap or water, replaced the belt. still not working. the only manual I have is the user manual - totally useless. What are the heads you clean with a toothbrush? Where can I get a good manual?
The 7920 is a 220 volt version of the 7901. I found a shop in New Zealand of all places that has service manuals on line. They are sort of picture books, but using them has saved me a lot of money as it makes repairing much easier. Here's the link you'll need. Good luck. If you need any more help, just add a comment to your post and it will go to my e-mail and let me know. The heads you clean are just the outlet spray heads when they get gunky.

I received a used Oeck Steemer carpet cleaner, and it won't release the liquid to clean the carpet. I have no manual for it, so I don't know if I am doing something wrong. I think I can hear the pump going on, when I push the button, but there is no liquid in the lines at all. I think the model number is XLS 4652-1, if that helps! Thanks for any help! Candy
candycparker- Did you ever get it fixed? I have one of them and the main tube broke. I am looking fo rparts if you still have it and might be interested in selling it.
