Hi,

You could download the manual which would have all the details :

http://www.retrevo.com/support/Bissell-1694-W-Vacuums-manual/id/10039bh339/t/2/

You need to click on ' Download the document '. Once clicked, it would take you to the new page. You need to go for option 2. Enter the string of numbers for verification and click on download now. A pop up would be there. Save the file on the desktop. Be advised that you need to have an acrobat reader to view the file.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

See the image below

1. Turn off power switch and unplug from the outlet.
2. Using a Flat head screw driver, insert the blade end into the lower slot of the belt access door to release the lower snap. Insert the blade end to the upper slot to release the upper snap.
3. Examine the belt for breakage. You should be able to see the pump belt looped around the motor shaft.
4. Replace if its broken or missing.
5. Once completed replacement return back the belt access door and power on the unit.

If you still have some questions just post back.

Hello,

Select the setting on the outside of the formula tank. The choices are "high traffic," "normal" and "water rinse." The steamer will mix the appropriate amount of formula with the water in the tank. Choose the "floor cleaning" setting on the tools dial that's located to the left of the tank. Plug the steamer into an electrical outlet. The power switch is on the back of the machine handle; turn it to "on. if no improvement, check to ensure the openings are not stuck with debris, also, check the cord to see that it is not bad, if it is, replace the cord.

Take care.

Turn the unit upside down and on each side of the roller brush is a red piece of plastic with screws remove and take off roller then you will see the belt drive stem place around stem and on roller and pop back in, Reassemble. Steve
