If your Hi Def Cable box has an Optical Input ( D Shaped with a red light shining through) then you can get a "Toslink" Optical cable to join it to the home theatre- full 5.1 sound if it is enabled on the cable box. These cords are fragile - handle with care don't kink them. I've seen these cords up to 5metres in length

Hi,

This is a well known, HDMI problem.

Unplug and plug in after few minutes, say 30 minutes. Check if that would fix the problem.

Make sure all the Connections are well secured.

If everything is all set, there is an issue with HDMI cable. Change and more likely you would be able to fix the problem.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

For best results either use an s-video connector and RCA Red/White for the audio. If no s-video available, use comp which means composite (Red,Blue, Green) so the truest color can go from one unit to the other. On the back of the theatre system, plug everything into "output", on the panasonic, input.

you need to be more specific. what kind of connection are you using? RGB, or hdmi? if it's rgb there is a switch at the base of the plug that connects to your xbox, it switches from reg tv to hi def. Also depends on what game you are playing not all are hi def

Sounds like it's jammed it self up, if you got finger nails try pulling the front on the dvd drive as you push the open button, otherwise look for a little tool of some sort to wedge in the front of the dvd drive to give it alittle movement as you press the open button, it may need a bit, just be careful not to break it lol , if still no luck unscrew the sides and back if it has screws at the back , lift the top off , and push the dvd drive from in there , that will atleast get the disk out, and lets hope solve future problems ,
