Led display light display is to low to read

As it has been Discontinued and replaced by DPAC90061. Your solutions are very limited. If you can find a remote that would be the way to go. found remote here for 12$ US a bit less than the panel and all functions are on it. Best to you. https://www.danbyapplianceparts.com/product-category/danby/portable-air-conditioners-danby/dpac9030/

My Waterfull Light is blinking

Your unit is most likely a problem on the system board as the LED is not stable (always blinks). I suggest you check these boards for the possibility of panel unit having problems. If you are unfamiliar with the repairs, you are good to use offline as experts work to test for impairment requires existing expertise.

Danby dpac7008 portable air conditioner

I want to know how these portable air conditioners are supposed to be set up. Do they have to be on the same as the window out of which the hose goes? If the window is 4.5 feet off the ground, does the air conditioning unit need to be put on a table to make it and the window on the same level?

To the best of my knowledge the unit can stay on the floor and included the product features listed below and it does have a dehumidifier reservoir with direct drain and to make sure if you use the drain hose that the hose is higher than the item that you are draining the water into or you can elevate the unit so that the hose can drain outside and out the window - but you can also drain the water into a bucket or some thing that will hold water. I hope this will help you…..

I can't seem to get the A/C to work. I'm thinking

The symtoms you describe appear to indicate that the AC might be low on the freon charge. Usually blowing cold and then hot is the first sign that the unit is low on refridgerant and is working hard to keep cooling.

Further, the tripping of the breakers/electric power also indicates that the unit is working hard to cool and as a result is running hot and is causing the power to trip off. If you can get a AC tech to recharge the unit, you should be all set.

Here's a link to a site with the owners manual and a troubleshooting guide for your unit. You can access it for free.

Hope this helps you get things working again! Best Regards!

Red flashing light

Hello,

Had the same problem, thing shutting off after an hour, no water in the tank. I had the external tank attached, was always bone dry. What I didn't know was on the side, there is a slide out tray which acts as the internal tank. The lid to that tank activates a micro-switch which tells the unit that it's full. This tank was dry too, but the switch was getting jostled, casuing it to trip. I've taped down the switch now, and it's fine. I check the tank every few days, just to be safe, but it's never got any water in it. Hope this helps.

My air conditioner is brand new and is giving off

odd that a new one would do that. try spraying the front of it (into the intake & output areas) with air freshener, or you could light an incense stick and put it in front of it and turn it on.
