Replace the keypad. Call the 1800 # in the back of your owners manual or look the # up online to order the part. If you don't want to fix it yourself you can take it to a microwave shop and have them do it. Microwaves are made cheaply enough now a days to just toss it out with the trash and get a new one.

How do I adjust the door switchs
Remove the grill on top and there will be a screw for the control panel. Once the control panel is tipped down you can see the door switches . Adjustment is a combination of the switch bracket and door hinge adjustment, You should have access to a Rf leak detector to inspect the door anytime the hinges or latches are serviced.

I have Kenmoore Microwave Hood
Hi,
I have repair this problem often.
Sounds like a bad door switch.
Opening the door while cooking
(without first hitting the STOP pad) is the primary cause of door switch
failure.
I have a text file called "doorsw.txt" which helps in
diagnosing and repairing door switch problems, and a file called
"safety.txt" which is of vital importance.
You can find these
files by searching at Yahoo.com (not Google) for this:
microwave
display safety.txt
In some cases, the problem is a bad connection
or a bad relay on the control board. That's something we see from time
to time, but it's usually a door switch.
Thanks for contacting Fixya.
I have a older GE model JE1660WB002 that just
its the same old storey...its stoped heating! most of the time its the magnatron burned out,,,very pricy part that is,,,best thing to do is ask for a price for a repair,,,,, then go out and buy a new unit,
dont play inside of your microwave,,,it can still kill you!!!! be warned!!!
Numeric keypad (numbers) don't work. Other
You have a failed membrane keypad.
If you (or someone you
know) might want to replace it yourself, I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically
involved.
At
our Web site, we have a video
available showing how to remove a typical
over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
There
should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit
behind the
control panel or hidden behind the grille, which is
very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating
components.
If you would like to
have us
do this repair for you, we do that for $39.95 plus part costs nationwide.
But please note that for
some models, the membrane keypad is not
available as a separate part, so you would have to order the control
panel frame assembly which comes with a new keypad.
In this case, you simply
move your circuit board into the new frame. That is a simple do-it-yourself
job.
Either way, we can let
you know what your options and costs would be and send you other
helpful info.
Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your
full model number from the tag on the unit) for more
information & help.

It depends on the model, but since you posted this under Kenmore and FixYa only gives you one shot at a post, I'll assume that:

You can just enter your full
model number at the Sears
parts site.
On the resulting page, look to the right for the blue "View manuals"
button. Click there.
That Sears-related site has many free manuals. While the manuals they
list there are all free, they will ask you to register.
Many times, the owner's manual will have the installation instructions
inside.
If yours is not listed there for free, you would have to order it
through the Sears
parts site.

MY MICROWAVE OVEN CONTROL PANEL KEEPS RINGING AND
SE error means you
have a shorted membrane keypad.
If and when an oven is coming on or doing anything by
itself, this is very dangerous and can result in a fire.
So until it is repaired,
please leave it unplugged or leave the door
open when it's not in use, and of course one should never leave a microwave unattended while cooking.
Feel free to contact me directly (and
please include your full model number from the tag in or on the
