I have a Panasonic over

This not a good sign, from your description it indicates the high voltage transformer is shorted possibily caused by the magnetron becoming defective. The money would be better spent replacing the microwave oven, the repairs to the present unit will be close or exceed the cost of a new one.

If the door is warped cheaper to replace the whole oven, the 3cm gap is a hazard because you have dangerous radiation leakage, the levels are exceeding safety standards and should be removed from service immediately.

The fan speed is (or better said it should be) regulated by the digital control board. In your case this board has been fried by the power surge.
The oven is probably fixable, just that it's not worth the effort: a new power source and a new board (which are surely fried) cost about $350. To that you must add the very possible failure of the magnetron - which would cost you another $200 to replace. Add to that the costs for the shipping of the parts and the wasted time with finding (i couldn't find them online) and installing them and you end up way more than it's worth.
Better just cut the losses and buy a new one.

We have a NN H275 WF OTR microwave that quit all

If it blows the breaker when you attempt to use it then you have a shorted high voltage capacitor. You can replace the parts but it would probably be the same amount of money vs. buying a new one. If you are not an experienced electronic technician then I would go and buy a new microwave. Click on the links below to read more:

Turns on and runs for 2 seconds before turning off

See if this describes what's happening:
  • Put in time, push start and unit runs for 2 seconds, relay clicks, unit goes off. Cook time on display goes off and clock time comes back. Bad upper interlock switch and charred connector
If so, see http://207.234.249.73/mwd/safety.txt , http://207.234.249.73/mwd/disassembly.txt and http://207.234.249.73/mwd/doorsw.txt

Otherwise, if the digital programmer circuit / controller does not get a feedback signal from the inverter for a period of 3 seconds, the controller will stop the cook cycle.

That may be a loose connection in the wiring between the inverter, magnetron, and/or control board, or maybe one of those components has failed.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

Can not open the door

Hello :

That could happen because of bad door switches . I don't think that there's anything you can do by yourself unless you are a handy . Calling for repair is better suggestion . A microwave is capable of giving you a serious electric shock even when it's unplugged from the outlet .

good luck .

Fuse blows on microwave switch on

one of three things shorted could cause this: H.V. diode, capacitor,or the magnetron tube, take screw driver and short terminals on capacitor before touching anything inside the case, then chk resistance on capacitor should show infinite after needle settles, diode should show hi resistance one way and a lower resistance in the other direction(use the RX100 scale not the RX1) on both parts diode should not show very low resistance or it could be leaking, mag is a different story,it can be chk'd but in a different way
