I have a hauck duett and i cant fold it down via instructions. Hauck sent me a nee chassis but yet still can fold down
A fully assembled & fully set up stroller of this model is folded by a sequence which must be followed in the proper sequence without negating any steps.
•First, remove all occupants & carry-ons (including a carseat or ANYTHING excess or optional).
•Second, press the release button(s) (Item/Process #1 in Figure 22a of the instruction manual) aside the push handle while both pressing the button (Item/Process #2 in Figure 22b) in the middle of this push handle & pushing the push handle down (Item/Process # 3 in Figure 22b).
•The push handle will drop parallel to the cross-member connected to the wheels on that side of the stroller; & the cross-member braces will "click" into place as the stroller is fully lowered.
Usually when such products do not fold, it is not because of the chassis (unless it has sustained damage or unless there has been/will be a recall due to a chassis problem). Non-folding situations are often caused by obstructions such as at/in any of the hinges or rotating/sliding parts, by release buttons/levers that have not been fully deployed, or by braces that have not been properly snapped into position. Notification of recalls is one of the benefits of registering the product with the manufacturer, but more than likely, something is obstructing the folding movement or a release lever/button has not been fully deployed.
