try to unlock your dvd player to play all free region. what you need is the code to unlock and a remote control to enter the into menu/programming mode. please specify model # of your dvd player when you look for the unlock key.

Philips 42PFL7432D/37 tv has no backlight but works otherwise. Have already replaced both inverter boards as the slave had a burnt IC.

it could be defective lamps which are big project to find the right parts & replace

When we play a DVD,

the dvd are not from your country region thats what it means to retify re burn the dvds to your country region code or buy a multi region code dvd player

My TV PHILIPS 32PFL7762D/12 is in a setup screen where i can not get out without an original remote. The side buttons dont operate the menu.
