if the headsets work the fm transmitter may already be working. unless they are using an ir signal. you can test this by blocking the the ir or (infrared) led's on the lcd and the dvd player , if the headsets still work than its probably being sent via fm signal. turn your head unit on to fm andstart at 87.1mhz and work your way up to 89.9mhz in .1mhz intervals fm transmiters are usualy some where in that frequency.hope that helps

How is the system connected? Are you using aftermarket amp or factory amp, check speaker wire from amp yo subwoofer, and volume levels kn the amp if aftermarket.

You are going to have to "open her up" to get the disk out. Can be a royal PIA.

They are for the steering wheel controls. If you don't have the steering wheel functions in your car, then I wouldn't worry about them. You may have a bad antenna for the gps.

My neice can do it from her sprint smart phone but you might have to initialize it through a home computer first, just for driver purposes

Don't expect to do this quickly. With this guide it should be easier for you, but my trial and error took forever. I do things legit. Don't even think of using twist caps or silicone, unless you hate your car. You have subs, your car vibrates. Nothing less than solder and heat shrink will give you a timeless, solid connection. If you're not willing to do it right, just take it to a shop.

If this is a new unit and didn't come with the harness, I would contact the company or retailer you purchased it from. If you purchased it from an individual, you may be screwed. Companies rarely sell those specific parts due to the possibility that the unit is stolen. You will probably need a dealer to order the part if it is available. Hope this helps.
