Shortcut Key To Flip The Screen In the Windows TO 180 Degree..The shortcut is (or should be, read below**)for normal windows : Ctrl + Alt + <Up arrow> (or shift+alt+<up arrow>)and for 180 deg it is : Ctrl + Alt + <Down arrow> (or shift+alt+<down arrow>)However, you should know that these are default shortcuts for Intel Extreme Graphics Controller, and you can change them. To check / change or disable these keys go to control panel->Intel Extreme Graphics->Hot Keys.**sometimes the shortcuts do not work. This happens when you have not enabled rotation feature in Display Settings under Intel Graphics Media Accelerator media. You need to enable rotation in order to be able to Rotate / Flip your windows screen upside down / 90 / 180 / 270 degrees.Mouse: with mouse, do you mean a usb mouse or the mousepad? if the mousepad isnt working, check ur "F" keys for an icon that looks like a mousepad icon. Then press the "Fn" key + the corresponding mousepad icon key and see if it works.
Touch Pad Problems
Check for new drivers for the touch pad out on Gateway's website and maybe check in BIOS to be sure that when you plug in an external mouse it doesn't disable the touch pad. Some laptops only let you do one or the other. Also if there is any software for the touchpad aside from drivers try reinstalling that also.

If my built in mic
Hi,
If the built in mic is not working but you are getting sounds from the speakers, you can still try to fix it by updating the audio driver of your laptop. Also try to check the settings to see if it is not disabled before you go ahead and buy an external mic.
Hope this helps.
How can i remove password from my loptop?
All mother board has a CMOS,
complementary metal oxide semiconductor, battery. The main purpose for the CMOS
battery is to store the system time, date and bios settings even if the computer is turned off or the main battery
dies.
Turn off
the computer (laptop) unplug it. Remove the Phillips screws that
secure the motherboard cover then release the cover from the clips on the
bottom of the plastic casing. Lay the cover aside then locate the CMOS battery
cable on the right side of the motherboard. Unplug the cable then remove the battery.
After a few minutes plug the CMOS battery into the motherboard... Replace the
screws then turn the computer (laptop) back over. The CMOS battery is unplugged
for more than a few minutes your BIOS will be reset to the default
manufacturer settings. (Password removed)
Why my gateway i can't install with windows xp
Is it an SATA HDD? If so, did you press F6 at the very beginning of the XP installation & install the SATA drivers?
or Boot into the BIOS and see if you have an option to use AHCI as a setting for your drive.
Gateway tablet screen does not respond to pen.
I have a CX2620, got it in May 2006. Got my first pen replaced not long after that, actually within a month or two (wouldn't calibrate). Now the second one doesn't work at all, I can't tell if it's the pen or the tablet itself, except that the mouse will draw in the tablet spaces. I kept the old one as a spare, but neither click, draw, nada.

if the bios checks the GPU and is set to warn when it is higher than 45 you can have the problem you say. most gpus idle aroundn 50C but when used for games or lots of motion can reach 60C. adjust the monitor to above 60C if you can.
the CPU can but should not reach 80-86C this is a high level and dangerous. you will want to see why your system is not gettign sufficiant air flow. Many of the Duos have heat issues and the designs of the laptops are not enough. A cooling pad is a welcome investment
How do you download files (all including outlook
Those details are all stored in c:\documents and settings\username or c:\users\username
you need to copy everything including hidden files except start menu, then you go to the new machine and place all the content into your current usernames folder replacing anything that exists, if you copy the start menu content from the other machine it will make a mess out of your start menu with programs that don't exist and won't work.
After that outlook may need to configured to use a different folder to store or read its data from, you would first need to find from the old machines outlook settings where it stores its files and from there copy that address and match it to the new machine ones you have moved them over.
As for the contacts I suppose they are stored in the same place on outlook so that should cover it.
here is a guide on how to find out
